Used 2008 Honda CR-V Consumer Reviews
2 nd car
Great car
Yeah for the CR-V
I've been driving a standard compact Ford Focus for seven years, so the CR-V is quite the improvement. I opted for a little upgrade with the moonroof, privacy glass, and AWD. Immediately after purchasing it I drove 250 miles through rural Utah. Had no problem accelerating, even going 75 on a steep incline, or passing. Also had no problem with the road noise that others mentioned, although I'm used to way more road noise. The mpg has been around 20 in the city and 25 on the highway, I expect it to increase as i break it in a bit more. Even with the underbite of a front bumper, I couldn't be happier with this car.

Happy
Fun to drive. Could use more horsepower. Lots of room inside, but kinda plain. Could use a DVD player in the back, for kids. Haven't seen the gas mileage as promised by the salesman, but it's still pretty new.
Well worth the money
So far I have owned my 2008 CRV for 8 months. After my Mitsubishi Galant was totaled in a fire, I bought this baby. I was surprised how well the vehicle handled, how well the fuel economy was, and how comfortable the interior was. I achieve about 21 mpg in the city on average, while achieving an average of about 28 mpg on the highway. Overall, great vehicle and I certainly recommend it to others.
The CR-V Won Over The Rav
We traded in a 1997 Rav 4. It was my wife's dream to own a new one. She didn't like the looks of the CR-V but I convinced her to take a test drive. She loved it - then we drove the Rav. Within a block she said no to the Rav and yes to the CR-V. We found the CR-V had more room but also had a more comfortable ride. The way this vehicle drives won us over.
