Nothing but love

We've had the CRV for 3 months now, and have nothing but good things to say about it. It handles great in the Buffalo winter weather, looks sharp and gets pretty good gas mileage. We compared it to the RAV4 and are very happy that we picked the CRV.

Unlike some of the folks on here, I actually traded up from my old 2001 Jetta and purchased the '08 CRV as my first "new" car purchase. I have to say that I am ecstatic! It has incredible handling, sleek style (I've been drooling over it for the past year), and a quality build. My mpg hasn't been the best so far (avg of 18-19), but I've literally only driven in stop and go city traffic, so I have patience. Also, the center "shelf" leaves some room for improvement. Overall, though, I am in new car heaven and I would... hands down... recommend this car to anyone. Honest.

I enjoy this car, but for a Honda, the fuel economy is a bit disappointing

Great car for the money. Gets decent mileage (22 mpg city) driving relatively short distances in the city and does well in the snow. I have had no problems yet, but have noticed that it does not have the same feel of quality that my Accord did (i.e. the doors close with a bang, not the "thunk" or perfection).
