Used 2007 Honda CR-V EX 4dr SUV AWD (2.4L 4cyl 5A) Consumer Reviews
My 12 years with a CR-V
This is my second Honda but first CR-V. We be bought it 68,500 miles ago in the fall of 2006. It has been the perfect vehicle for us in that I am tall but my wife is short and we made it work for both of us: visibility, easy in and out, good gas milage and performance. In fact, we just bought another CR-V...a 2018. Looking forward to another 12 years.

Surprisingly Good!
Had the car over a month and it's been great. I have a S2000, my son have an Accord and my wife had a 1999 Mustang GT Convertible. We were looking for a Lexus GS to replace her Mustang until we looked at the CRV. The lack of power is way over blown unless you're drag racing. I think a lot of the critic comes from the high expectation of this being an Honda. Love the ride and the dash blue light background.

A Good Value
I've had the car for just over a week now, and I like it a lot. It is very quiet, the handling is sporty, and the build quality is excellent. It's also a lot roomier than the last time I tried a CRV (although that was back in 2001). I had been considering the Mercury Mariner, but the CRV won me over with its good looks, superior resale value and Honda's reputation for reliability. It also just feels a lot more solid; the doors close securely and do not feel as flimsy as the Mercury's.
Rust
My 2007 Honda has started to rust on the back of the trunk lid. I have had it rust proofed every year since I bought it, this is on the surface paint. I have only driven this car two years in all the time I have owned it in the winter. Of course they say it is out of warranty, but would like to know if anyone else has had this trouble. The worst is around the plastic honda plate on the back. Anyone else have this problem and how did you get it fixed. I don't feel I should have to pay for rust when I have done everything I was told to do. I am sure if I fix one spot there will be others pop up. It looks like a money grabbing thing that isn't going away even if it is fixed.
Road nosie is the only problem...
I am not sure if it's me or the car itself. I have driven my Mazda 626 for 9 years now and I never thought I heard other vehicles passing when cruising on a high way at 65mph. But with this new CR-V I could hear every car that I pass and the ones that pass by me. I also think the road/wind noise is more. That's my only complaint. The vehicle feels otherwise very crisp and comfort. The noise is heard only on some highways. If the pavement is a newly done one, the noise is not bad. I think the insulation by the car bosy and the window mirrors are of poor quality. I really expected a nice noise free ride.
