Great Car!

I've had a lot of cars (Honda Element, numerous Subarus, Ford Explorer, to name a few) and this has been my all around favorite. It rides great and drives good. It has great room for passengers front and back. It has good storage. I purchased my CR-V 10/06 and as of 9/07 I have put 42,000 miles on it. I have had no problems and have averaged 26 MPG. I have gotten as good as 32 MPG on a flat road trip at 60 MPH. I can't imagine a better vehicle for the price.

CRV Review

Test drove the RAV4, Forester and CR-V. For only $1K more the CR-V had moon roof, alloy wheels privacy glass and a hundred little gadgets like tire pressure monitoring, extra engine maint. gauges, trip estimates and a better sound system (w/ ipod input jack). The CR-V had better interior than both the RAV4 and Forester and was much much quieter. Was somewhat disappointed in fuel economy. Sticker says 22-27 but I've been averaging about 19 mpg with half city/half hwy driving. Though I took it on a road trip last week and averaged 28.5 mpg w/ cruise on. Also, your not going to win any races with this car. The performance is adequate and responsive but not extraordinary.

Somewhat better than the old CRV

I like the new Honda CR-V, and owned the previous model (2003). Unfortunately I think it looks like every other new crossover-they look like station wagons! I'm not impressed with the fuel economy. I also miss the table that you got with the older CR-V-it came in handy for tailgating. It rides well, and is comfortable for the most part. I wish the back seat was a few inches wider, then two adults could sit in the back with a car seat.

Not a bad SUV at all!

I am not a big fan of SUVs. I test drove this after reading the rave reviews and bought it after extensive research and test driving of cars. The 4 cyl is extremely refined and has adequate power and a decent fuel economy for an SUV. The CRV is extremely athletic and very car like in its handling (felt sportier than the 07 Camry, RAV4 but not as much fun as CX-7). There is some wind noise at highway speeds but it is not very significant. Extremely well finished interior (Camry had uneven gaps in the plastic) and I love the display. Definitely sexier than the boxy 06 CRV. Wanted the Honda reliability and this car has a decent gas mileage. Overall, a great value. Will get Z4/G37 in a few years.

I have owned my 2007 CRV for about 3 months and love it. I have owned the 2 previous model styles of the CRV and this one is the best. It looks great on the interior and exterior. I have been impressed with the gas mileage esp. compared to the previous 2 models. I average 22-23mpg in town and have been averaging about 28 mpg on the interstate on long trips. I have used the AWD in the snow and on hilly gravel roads where I live in SD. The AWD appears to work rather well on the snowy roads in our area.
