Dissapointing
I have less than 500 miles on my new Civic. I got the Sport Sedan with the 2.0 NA motor. When I first drove it I was in love. The styling is amazing and the ride is smooth and quiet. I loved everything about this car for the first few days. The last 3 days have been a nightmare with this car. I was driving down the highway and went to pass a vehicle. As I got on the gas and switched lanes the car reved up and then immediately lost all power. I went to step on the gas again and it did the same thing. I thought maybe it was a fluke with the traction control or something. It happened a few more times the last two days while trying to pass someone. I wish Honda would get away from the CVT transmissions. This car doesn't even have 200hp and the "transmission" can't even handle that. Get back to real transmissions with actual gears instead of belts. I can't wait to get into something different. I hate this car so much I'm highly considering taking a big hit on trade just to get rid of it.

Still low to the ground?
I drove Honda Accords (LX) from 1990 to 2018, then bought a Civic to save money. My 2006 Accord EX was wonderful, like they had built it for me, but it was getting old, so I bought the Civic. I hate it. It IS a beautiful car, but that's it. Its so low to the ground I can't even do drive-up banking. And I don't know why -- shorter wheelbase front to back? -- but every time I have to make a right turn, I run over the curb with the right back wheel. You'd think after 4 years I would have figured out how to turn right. My previous 61 years of driving were outstanding. Back to the car: I don't think there's good trunk space. I'm 5'4" and I can't make the driver's seat high enough to see well, have to use a pillow, which is a real pain. The windshield wipers are schizophrenic, the gas mileage is only 3 mpg better than my 2008 Accord's (not using the turbo). The red line in the right-hand mirror showing you when its safe to change lanes to the right is great. Over-the-shoulder left-hand checking for lane change clearance is good - very clear. Inferior tires.

Worst one I've owned
Don't like this new design....can't get to the outside door lock without standing on your head. Hate the engine shutdown at stops and it is so plain compared to the 2017 Civic we had. Also hate how they placed the infotainment center on this car. This was a big mistake on Honda. Think alot of these cars will become trade ins
