I’ve purchased the 2021 Civic in March of 2021. This vehicle has exceeded my expectations, great ride , comfortable and great gas mileage, averaging 39 to 40 mpg, since I drive mostly highway miles . I have the 1.5 liter turbocharged engine and it’s great to drive!

Fun little gas sipper

Responds well. Quick on turns. The turbo isn’t big, just the right size to give you that punch you need. Great on gas. We are actually getting 41 mpg highway. Apple CarPlay is awesome. Voice to text and being able to have Siri read your incoming messages is crazy helpful. Sound system is good. I’ll add an amp to improve it though. We got the EX. (Best gas option, plus the turbo) really comfortable seats. The car is my wife’s. She could have had any car she wanted. Test drove a Lexus and an all electric. In the end she chose this one. A civic was her first car as a teachers Aid. And she chose it again now that she has her Doctorate and is a high school Principal. She’s very happy with her Civic. As she put it, “My civic never let me down and was always fun. Gonna stick with what got me here.”

Blown Engine

14 months and 6000 miles. No prior warning, no warning lights until incident, car ran as usual. 2 days ago it shut down at a stop light restarted, error messages related to ACC, Crash Mitigation, Lane Keep Assist and check oil level. Drove 1/2 mile engine became loud and shut down. Dealership says the engine is unrepairable and needs replaced.
