Hondas are not what they used to be.....

I bought this car new in June 2018. It has been great on fuel economy. Recently I had to have the air conditioner replaced due to a leak with only 23,000 miles!!! On my second wheel alignment, significant adjustment was required. The car is still under warranty, but needless to say, I'm starting to regret buying newer model Hondas. My next vehicle will definetively be a Toyota. This vehicle has the Honda Sensing system but after having it over a year, I would not make the mistake to pay for this option.

Great fuel economy

This is our first Honda, we have the civic EX and it is a little disappointing. The road noise is horrible, the passenger seat can not be lifted higher so it’s like you are sitting on the floor. I’m short and because the seat sits so low I get cramps in my legs even though I added a cushion so I could see out of the window and in general the seats are just not comfortable. A few other things are when you get an incoming call you almost have a heart attack because it’s so loud. Haven’t figured out how to adjust it so I don’t wreck when the phone rings. We’ve had this car for a little over a year and now there is a rattling sound coming from behind the radio. We will not buy another Honda Civic, I’m not sure if the other models have these issues. The fuel economy is great and it does have a bit of pick up when you need it. It’s very stylish and the trunk is enormous. In this particular trim there aren’t very many USB ports and there are no air/heat vents in the back seat area. Oh and you can only let the rear seats down after you pull a latch that is in the trunk. If you’re looking for an inexpensive car that’s cute and great on gas then this might be a car to look into for you.

Uncomfortable, poorly designed car!!!

I leased a 2019 EX-L and within days I had pain going down my neck into my back and arms. The test drive is so brief, I didn't notice that the headrest actually pushes my head forward in an unnatural position. This is what caused the pain. If I put the seat back more or put cushions, my back doesn't get the appropriate support and still hurts. Additionally the bottom seat slants down so that your butt is lower than your knees ... more problems. My girlfriend bought a two door civic same year and her seat bottom is also uneven...higher on the right than on the left. I tried everything to remedy the headrest situation, but no seat position or any amount of support cushions helped. The salesman actually suggested turning it around or removing it!! How nice... Honda.com and Joyce Honda could care less. I ended up turning the car in with 1200 miles on it after about 6 weeks and took a HUGE financial loss since they refused to give me any of my deposit back...leaving me with no car. It's been 3 months and I'm still going to doctors and physical therapy trying to alleviate the back pain. Additionally, I am 5''3" tall and my head was about an inch away from the inside roof of the car. I couldn't use the sunroof that I paid extra for because when I open it, my hair would fly right out of it. I would give this car a 0 if it were an option. I will never own another Honda and recommend you do not either!

One thing. My battery is dead, no reason just electrical is acting weird. The plastic tubing keeps coming off the door. The year prior to this was a better car. I leased that one and I thought they’d be the same, they aren’t.

I leased 2019 civic (sport) . While reversing my car , suddenly everything is locked . We can’t move steering and brake was not working . It was keep going back until it hit another car . After pressing brake multiple times , it unlocked and we able to drive car back to parking area . It’s too scary to touch this car

Little low to ground Might be better suited to under 60 years of age Seats good but could use touch more cushioning Or get the option that allows ac motor To raise or lower plus move seat forward or back Helpful on long trips

This car is tiny and has no room. The trunk is spacious but that’s the extent of it. The cloth is clean and feels scratchy against your skin.

Could use some improvements in Trim - like a different way to raise the driver's seat rather than a pump. The car itself is very nice and looks great. I was disappointed that Lane Watch was not on the list of safety items.

I bought this honda a yr. Ago used. With 30,000 miles on it. It's great on Gass and it's very comfortable to to drive. It handles great but you can hear outside noise but that doesn't bother me. If I want quiet and smooth I would buy a Cadillac. I love this car I drive it every day to work and out of town. No problems with the car and it is very reliable. The motors in these cars will go for a long time.
