Used 2016 Honda Civic EX-T 2dr Coupe (1.5L 4cyl Turbo CVT) Consumer Reviews
Could be a great car
This car could be great, but I have had constant computer and electrical issues as well as problems with the third brake light housing coming down within the first week of purchase. I have found, per my dealership, that every coupe with a third brake light has the housing coming down. The electrical issues included the passenger window and sunroof not working randomly. The display would stop working for several minutes at a time, beeping constantly during this period. I have had multiple computer updates and this car had been in the shop for over 30 days total. The basic response from the dealership was, "That's what you get for buying the first year of a new vehicle." Update: After 2 years of ownership and multiple electrical issues, I finally traded it in for a 2018 Si. It was still having USB issues, and two weeks before I traded it in, the entire computer went black for about 10 seconds. I was over it at that point.

Handling is down from previous generation
I've had my 2dr Civic coupe (1.5L turbo) for 3 weeks. I spent a lot of time in the beginning setting and resetting the programs like auto door lock (which doors to lock) or unlock, auto ignition as some were not practical or suited to me. With the "drive by wire" steering, there's a somewhat disconnected feel to the steering compared to previous generation Civics. The car is also wider and longer than the previous generation, so steering control did not feel as precise and the tail wagged during hard corner. Pick up is uninspiring below 50mph. The turbo only kicks in at speeds above 3,500 rpm and usually above 50mph. It rarely kicks in in the economy mode. To feel the turbo, turn off the "Eco" button, but your fuel economy will suffer. Best of all is the fuel efficiency - I drove ~240 miles on the highway on a hot 90 degree day with air conditioner on, at 74mph, and averaged 41mpg. It's that incredible for a non-hybrid.

Love it!
I bought it in April 2016. Only 1 to 2 of this model per dealer since the Coupd is so new. I shop around for s nice, tech, fairly economic car... I am 20 yrs old... I had a used car prior to buying this one. I am still in college, live with parents, work part time.... I really love and enjoy my car a lot. Highly recommended.

Not for cold weather
If you live somewhere with a warm climate this is a great car. In cold temperatures the motor does not heat up the way it should, leaving you to drive in a cold car all the time.
