Not just a good hybrid, a good car!

This car is much better than the '05 model or the Prius, I feel. It's more comfortable, and the interior design is very functional yet very cool-looking. There's tons of storage, the steering is very quick with no dead zone, the forward view is very good considering its steep angle, and the controls are laid out very well. The exterior, identical to the sedan's, is surprisingly sleek and sporty-looking, except the rear end which is more like a traditional Civic. Acceleration is good at all speeds. I get 39-42 mpg on the highway at 80 mph, 42-48 mpg at 30-60 mph, and 35-39 mpg in bad traffic with acceleration followed by sudden braking all the time. My last tank was 41 mpg over 427 miles.

The 2006 Honda Civic LX is a dream car. The first car I ever had that I have fun driving it. It is our 5th Honda, 1982 Acord 1986 Accord 1993 Accord 1998 Civic and finally the 2006 Civic. By far the best one yet. Very roomy. Dashboard is cool. QUIET as our old Accords. I know Honda and its the best I've ever seen. Honda is the only car I'll ever buy again.

I was looking for a vehicle that got better mileage than my truck (not that hard to find) and I found the civic hybrid. I did some research on them and found that it would be the best deal for me with the long distances I travel. I was spending about 150 buck a week with my truck on gas and the the prices went up. this car is unbeatable if you're looking for good mileage (40-45mpg hwy and about the same in the hills that i've been traveling in) less than 70 bucks to go from fl to ct

2006 Honda Civic EX 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl 5A)

My EX is sooo easy to drive. I have an '89 Si and this is a big improvement. The 06 Civic gets great gas mileage, is practical, but also nice looking with the new design. The EX has most of the luxury features that I became accustomed to with my sport/luxury sedan so I don't mind moving down in class to save money and get to where I'm going comfortably. Besides, most of the time I drive at a moderate speed and don't treat this like a sports car. This car is perfect for our expected baby (safe), an occasional friend, and an easy to drive tool for getting from place to place without the hassle of a big bulky vehicle. We installed leather to make the ride seem more than it is. Mileage= 31mpg

Honda Man Forever

Only problem we have had with our Civic is uneven rear tire wear. After taking it into the local Honda dealership they were able to determine that there was a problem with the rear suspension that caused the tire wear. They replaced all of my tires (over $600) under warranty and stopped the problem. Later, they were able to correct the suspension problem with a replacement part and we have had no further problems. We average in the low to mid 30's on daily mpg and have gotten as high as 44 mpg on the highway. Fantastic car. We have driven Hondas since 1987 and have never had our vehicles in the shop for anything other then scheduled maintenance.
