Used 2018 Honda Accord Sport 4dr Sedan (1.5L 4cyl Turbo 6M) Consumer Reviews
Simply beautiful.
The 2018 Honda Accord Sport really is a combination between beauty, safety and dependability. The vehicle exterior is made to catch your eye with it's curves and rims/tires that give it a real sports car look. Once inside it feels more luxurious with plenty of room for all family members. The seats are very comfortable and there does not seem to be a blind spot while driving. What really becomes somewhat fascinating are all the different bells and whistles such as lane control assist, braking assist and hands free communications. This vehicle has huge trunk space as well as a smooth ride with rapid acceleration which again can be changed from economy mode to sport mode. I urge anyone who is looking to buy a nice vehicle to schedule a test drive in the Honda Sport. It has something for everyone. Lastly but most importantly it is the SAFETY features that really make you feel comfortable. Air bags are placed all the way around this vehicle and upon an impact the computer system automatically contacts personnel who will call for emergency responders should they be needed. All in all this is the car of 2018. Just Perfect.

Low clearance killed a sale
The Honda Accord, always a reliable vehicle, has impressive new features for 208. However, it's irritating that one cannot just get & pay for the add-ons one wants without also getting features one doesn't want (e.g. to get leather seats, you have to get a moonroof.). I was also disappointed that Honda - like most other cars - offers mostly tired old exterior colors: black. dark blue, dark gray, dark red (all of which LOOK black). At least you also offer red and Champagne Frost. But what really killed my desire to buy an Accord this year was its low ground clearance. Despite its awesome new features, no one wants a car that's hard to get in and out of!

Sporty look and handeling
I have always looked for a manual transmission when looking for a new car. I was surprised to see the Accord sedan sport 6 speed manual and was intrigued. After checking the price and limited availability I almost backed out of new in favor of used. I was trading a 2013 LX-S manual and the 2018 was the only option to move in to a newer model. Prior to the 2013 I had a 2009 civic manual with great pickup but small interior. I traded up to the 2013 Accord for more room but found that it had less zip than the Civic due to the increased weight. The same was true with the 2018 as the size increased the 1.5 lt engine is a little sluggish during acceleration. My wife also noticed this on her first outing. I guess the higher price for the 2.0 lt engine is warranted in this case. I am happy with the trade off between price and performance and the car is still fun to drive with plenty of interior room.

Luxury for less
I bought the Sport trim 1.5 T with 6 speed manual because I missed the involvement of a manual. Thanks to Honda for still offering the manual. The clutch is incredibly soft and the shifter buttery smooth. It's so easy to drive. The 8 inch infotainment screen has high definition and brightness and looks even better than the BMW display on my wife's car. There is incredible rear legroom. Sitting behind myself, there's probably 9 inches of legroom. The trunk room is also very large at 16.7 cubic feet. Plenty of room for suitcases or golf bags. My car has the 19 inch wheels with the low profile tires 235/40, but I don't feel that the ride is harsh. It still feels comfortable. I have not driven on a long range highway trip, but I am still averaging 34 MPG in mostly city driving, even though the Sport trim 1.5 T 6M is rated for 26 city, 35 highway. On shorter highway trips, the trip computer was reporting 42 MPG. I usually accelerate very gradually, but if I have to give it the beans, the 1.5 T has plenty of power to get up to speed safely. The design of the interior cabin and the exterior will make you feel that you are in a luxury brand for a fraction of the cost. Update at 26 K miles: I still love the car as much as when it was new. I love the styling, especially the sporty wheels. The car has never let me down. The car is rated for 30 MPG overall, and I have gotten 37 MPG for the life of the car. Fantastic value.
