So I picked up my Accord back in late March of this year for 27K. I have the sport model with the 18" tires and a manual transmission which I appreciate since so many American cars don't come with a stick except at the higher end models. The car handles well, and overall I'm satisfied with it considering my job has my driving around 2000 miles a month. HOWEVER, as with any car there have been a couple issues. The touch screen is finicky and likes to freeze up when using Apple Car Play, you also have to connect it to the lightning port to use it which for some reason doesn't charge it while doing so. Additionally, make sure you check everything is installed correctly before driving off. I had a mirror come off in the car wash and even though their's no damage to the side mirror assembly, the mirror itself isn't covered under warranty because of "outside influences." as per the dealer and Honda of America.

Feel like a kid again with the manual transmission

Leased a 2018 Sport Manual with the 1.5 engine. Perhaps it was dumb as I'm 40 yrs old with a family, but the manual brings the fun back to driving again. Overall a great car! The 1.5 turbo has plenty of power, allowing me to chirp the tires in hard shifts into 2nd gear. However, truly amazing to me is that it is returning 34.8 mpg in real world driving. This is a mix of 75city/25hwy. I'm quite impressed by the gas mileage as I have driven the car fairly hard in my first 1,000 miles and used 87 octane. The good: strong engine (1.5), gear box, handling, tech. Google car play is an amazing interface that is very easy to use. There is very little I don't like about the car. Some minor gripes: on the highway, the road noise is a bit loud, but I came from a Lexus. Certain roads seem to catch the tires jerking the steering wheel ever so slightly. Not sure if it is the tires or the steering. And one really annoying gripe, there is no trunk release located on the trunk. You either need to use the keyless fob or open from the driver side door. This is the one thing I hate - so I suppose if that is my biggest gripe, then the car is solid. If you like a smooth manual transmission, with plenty of power, that is fun to drive, go get one! Mine is the red color and I've had a lot of people come ask what it is. When I say an Accord, they shake their heads in disbelief. Very nicely done Honda!

Wiggle ride

2018 Honda Accord 1.5 sport turbo. Day one drove form the dealership 20miles on the highway home. I noticed immediately the car wiggled on concrete highway it wanted to fall the grooves on the road. Call the dealer they said break the tires in about 500 miles. Had a second oil change 14000 miles tire rotation. Drove the car to Florida from Iowa on the return trip the rear tires cupped and bald. Took it back to Honda they said I need to rotate the tires more often I paid for the oil changes and the tire rotations of front for the lifetime of the vehicle. I talk them into replacing just two rear tires they wanted me to pay for them. Just had the oil changed again I'm at 20,000 miles move the rear tires to the front they are the new tires or newer. The alignment must be off they're scrubbing and they make a heck of a noise. So now I have to take another day off take it back to Honda so they can tell me that the tires need rotated or new tires need to be installed on at my cost. The audio system is garbage it randomly shuts off and turns back on my phone and my wife's phone sometimes work syncing up to Android carplay sometimes no problems sometimes nothing but problems. TPS light tire monitoring system is on constantly I get it to reset go a month comes back on check the air pressure fine but the light will come back on again. Very frustrated I always thought Honda had it all together. Car is red with black wheels and a 6-speed manual, fun to drive looks great the interior is pathetic cheap very cheap. I had a Nissan Altima SE v6 way better car without tire issues and everything worked. I think I'll be trading this in....

Seat squeaks, car rattles, paint chipped by squirl

This vehicle is not as sturdy as it's supposed to be, now at 17,000 KMs. The driver seat squeaks and I've taken it for service once and now 2nd time. The car rattles at 1800-2000 RPM and they can't figure it out I park near a hedge and Squirrels jump on this car and now it's full of scratches and paint chippings from squirrels! There are 4 other cars parked next to me and I also park my Toyota at times in that spot and not a scratch. So clearly crappy paint. Looking forward to getting rid of this car.

Honda? (Updated)

I have owned this car for 5 months I was excited and proud of my decision to go with Honda! similar to the other review i read BUT i bought it used. This car has been in the shop about 4 times. I am currently dealing with froggy rpm and stuttering when in park, at a stop or at a constant speed third time my warning lights have been on since owning the crap. I have replaced all coils and sparks, I am at the end with this vehicle. My first honda i have owned and i regret it 100% i wish i went with toyota or lexus. I am paying for a car that may not be okay to drive.. i do not recommend :/ so disappointed. ** It turned out the be the fuel injectors, something Honda has recognized and put out a recall for. The dealership charged me $$ to replace my brand new sparks. I personally felt it should have been free of charge due to the fuel injectors causing this misfire. I am still not happy with the car reliability thus far it has broken my presumed budget for a non luxury car, I may have just picked out a bad apple but, I will rid of it soon. Not sure if I’d ever get a honda again🙄**
