2013 Honda Accord Sport 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl CVT)

I'll update this review in 1000 miles or so, but for now, I've just brought home my new Honda Accord Sport and commuted once to work.

Absolutely no buyers remorse. Having read in a couple of places about transmission jerkiness at low speeds or road noise, I'm thrilled to report I've noticed NO such problems.
Car has a fantastic exhaust note, and is whisper quiet. Acceleration is smooth and the vehicle is extremely responsive. The Sport quickly found its way to 80 mph with little prodding and felt as if it was standing still.

Seating is incredibly comfortable, and the interior calming and spacious.

Best Features

The Sport package is sharp looking, probably best in the line with the possible exception of the Touring model. Looks fantastic from the front and the wheels do add to the appearance. The vehicle handles lateral motion well, and responds quickly to steering input. On a combination of open road rapid acceleration and stop and go traffic, I averaged between 26.8-31MPG ...and that was on the first drive from the dealer! Told it should get even better over time. Drove two adults in the back seat and they had legroom to spare.

Worst Features

The Sport is tuned to have a little more horsepower and a tighter suspension. This is good for those who don't want to give up sporty driving dynamics for a family sedan...but be aware that this, coupled with the larger tires, make for a ride that is a little stiffer with more road feel than in the base or EX trim level. I would have liked to see 6 speakers and perhaps an optional moonroof in the Sport class. All in all, a fantastic vehicle (so far) one that is worthy of the praise heaped upon it by the Automotive press. Confused about which sedan to buy - get the Accord and stop worrying. If you like a little more aggression in your ride, buy the Sport. You won't be disappointed
