Outstanding car for most part
I had previous to this 2013 Accord Sport a 2006 BMW 525. There is no comparison between the two cars as the Accord handles much better and of course the build quality is incredible. Not to mention mileage and the superb 8" screen with bluetooth, etc. The value for the money is absolutely amazing. There are two complaints that are relatively minor given the overall package, but potential buyers should be aware of. First, the seats are hard and have poor lumbar support (no matter what you do with the lumbar adjustment). Second the CVT is 'peaky' when you drive it in the standard mode. In eco mode it lugs but actually feels better. In sport the rpms won't come down when cruising.
Honda knows what it is doing
overall i like the car, very roomy, smooth, alot of features, decent power, good build quality and material inside. the cvt does getting use to, at first i did not like, but after 3k mi there are some situtaions that i think it is better than a traditional tranny. still prefer a traditional tranny but not by that much. And actually like the cvt much more than i thought i would. the other two faults are the sound system sub par, and the ride a liittle firm, not bad but just would like a touch softer over some bumps, but live in nyc and roads terrible here. overall i give it a 8/10. fyi drove the sport back to back 3 differnces are steering heavier, ride little bussier, and stereo even worse

Buyer's Remorse
EX-L-4 Wish I'd looked closer & at other cars first to compare. Seat is hard & seat seam hits you wrong. Lttle open space for glasses & badges. Arm rests are next to useless & Very little CD storage. No garage door button on EX-L-4? Rough & hard ride. Can't find comfort spot while seated. Test drive on saleman's route didn't show hard ride, wife drove, her car. Loved previous 3 Accords, kick myself hard for not looking harder at 2013. Already has vibration rattle. Love design, looks, cameras, power, rear seat room, plus other stuff, don't like sitting & driving the car. We will adapt & adjust, have to, but have real remorse about buying it. Loved previous Accords, Not this one.
Great Car! Review after 8 months ownership
I'm extremely please with the car. I've got about 22,000 miles on it and it's nicely broken in. On a recent trip to the Outer Banks, NC, I got over 600 miles on a tank of gas, averaging 38.2 mpg! Driving on NC 12 up Hattaras Island at 55-60mph, I averaged 46.3 mpg for the hour drive north to get off the island. Amazing!! I agree that the CVT will not be for everyone, but I like the fact that I get awesome mileage in a very well built, good looking car. Speaker quality is excellent with a digital device, so dont judge sound system until you plug in your own device!
Many rattles
When I purchased my first Honda, a 2013 Accord, I expected a consistent vehicle that was comfortable to drive and easy to maintain. While the new features are nice to have, they don't outweigh the incessant rattling noise coming from the dashboard. The dealerships don't seem to know how to fix it, which makes the situation even worse. When you purchase a new vehicle like an Accord, you expect the Honda name to hold up. I have a different opinion of Honda now.
