Great car, needs a few changes
This car is great in some ways but can use improvement. The seats are a bit hard but comfortable. The leather is great. The ride is stiff. Handiling is great. The car is quiet and shifts into other gears smoothly with great pickup. I think the car should have been made a bit larger and the ride should be smoother.
Nice, but not a "sport" sedan
All the normal great things you get from Honda, good design, comfort, reliability. The engine is powerful and smooth, and the 6-speed transmission adds some sportiness. But don't fool yourself, this car is sill a Honda Accord. You're not getting a "cheaper" sports sedan by going to the manual. Doesn't handle like a Buick, but leaves something to be desired. The car needs a better handling package, upgraded suspension with wider tires and upgraded brake system.

2006 Honda Accord New Owner
Changing from a Durango to Honda Accord has been quite emotional & I'm still grieving but gas mileage is more important. New owner for 3 weeks; handling is okay but doesn't take bumps well. Going in for service b/c have recently noticed front glass appears to have come unglued?? - squeaking noise full length of glass next to hood when you go over bumps. If you like your music, make sure it gives the power you want. For me, depending on what you're listening to, sound doesn't go up high enough.
New Accord owner very happy so far
I've had the car for just less than 2 weeks so maybe I'm a bit premature for a truly accurate review. E.g. since I'm still breaking it in I really can't comment on the power/performance of the V6. Been taking it easy so far! But I will say that coming out of a 98Civic I am enjoying the extra punch. The reasons for wanting this car to begin with still ring true now that I own one: proven H reliability, conservative style with a bit of flair and a touch of luxury, a great mix of practicality and fun-to-drive. Not to mention the notch up on the sexy meter with the new 6M! On the negative side the brakes are a bit soft and the suspension/wheels a bit hard. You will feel the bumps.
Best kept secret
Ive had the car for about two weeks. I had leased it with the intention of lower payments. I have owned lots of sport cars, for the money, this car is a steal. Smooth, powerfull, handles well, rides well, and is loaded with features. Similiar cars of this quality cost in excess of 30 grand. I must say, I am pleasantly surprised at how much fun it is to drive, and plan on keeping it a while. The 6 cylinder and 6 speed manual is the way to go. Feels like a true sports sedan. Dont take my word for it, go test drive one, you will be surprised.
