Must have done something good this year to get a way-cool car. Love the whole package. Honda took a risk in '03 when they did a major overhaul of their successful car (I still own a '98 Accord), but well worth it. Love the leather interior and all the amenities (dual heated seats, excellent ride, 110k between tune-ups, etc.). Would highly reccommend giving this car a test drive. My wife has the '02 Camary. Comparing the two side by side, the Accord is head and shoulders the better value.

All in all the 2005 Honda provides a fun, efficient and safe ride. Plenty of room for 4 adults, without sacrificing performance. Car handles well on highway and city. Clutch system makes city driving easier than previous experiences. I have discovered a few rattles. First in the dash area. Dealership fixed it the first time in. Second developed in the passenger side headrest area. Nice trunk room. Could use fold away hinges like the Passat to allow greater clreance in the sides of the trunk. Stereo sounds full and XM option is great and easy to use. Biggest diappointment is the odomoeter/trip and temp options. Odometer should remain on with trip A, B and Temp options.

The Accord is great, it has everything you need in a vehicle-power,comfort. But i think the design still needs help the rear is still not to my liking but i still like it.

I have purchased a 2004 Accord EX V6 also and based on my satisfaction with the '04 decided that for the money the '05, which I bought for my wife, was the best choice over all its competitors. From a reliability and resale point of view this car has no comparison. I have been a loyal Honda/Acura driver for many years. After looking at the competition it's hard to be convinced there's a better choice. Smooth quiet ride at all speeds. Cruises effortlessly at 80 MPH.
Battery Died -Towed Twice in One Day

Only have 16,000 on this baby, owned under 3 yrs. and I was shocked when my battery died on a very hot day. My shop says it happens! He also said the breaks are fine, just noisy pads (after 10,000 noticed a slight squeal). Still like the car for what I paid under $18,000 everything included Cash. Nobody is perfect. Must last 10 yrs.
