Reliability Nope!!!
I decided to cut down on the mileage of my Mercedes which had 240K miles and get a reliable yet economical car. Honda was recommended. The check engine light came on at 50K miles. It was a faulty EGR valve. Honda sent me a service notice that the design in the EGR valves were faulty and that for 7 years or 80K miles if the check engine light came on and it was determined to be the EGR valve, that it would be replaced. At 70K miles the EGR valve replaced again. Next the trans started slipping and acting erractic. A $630 repair job and a bandage fix. Recommendation a replacement trans for $4600. Now hub bearing, a gasket causing antifreeze leak have appeared.
Honda’s never did.
I bought this car with 135,000 on it 8 years ago. It has over 245,000 on it’s still going strong. I’ve driven across the USA 4 times with it and through snow and heat it always comes through. Paint is faded and some rubber is finished. If it wasn’t for some rust starting this car would last for 500,000 miles. Had to replace rusty brake and fuel lines and now tank is rusting out.

Honda
This is my first car ever! I love it. Has some transmission problems but it still drives, so no problems. It is 12 years old and I drove it 80 mph on the freeway and she got 33 mpg and that was with my bike rack. Bought from my dad's coworker. Got a great deal $5000 and it is still worth $4000 after two years. I recommend this to all.
Been a great car
I owned this car for 10 years and loved it. The transmission started to act up, so I am moving on.
My Second Honda and it want be my last
While I have this 1999 Honda accord today because my 94 Honda Accord was damaged pretty bad in a wreak. So far I love the car, I brought it for 2,800 as is. It didn't need any under the hood work just a paint job and a new hood.I was blessed. I drive back in forth from home to school in another city. My gas lasted forever, 20 dollars lasted me 6 days straight. But my shifter has been getting stuck in park and I have to pull it hard to shift to another gear but that is fine, no biggie got fixed. I love hondas and toyotas and I want changed to an American made car for nothing, because they only look good, but they don't last long at all compared to hondas and toyotas. Just do your research.LOL
