My RESEARCHED DREAM
I had the opportunity of finding a new car after an accident and man did I do my research on midsize suvs this model has yet to cause me any grief or disappointment. My suv takes hills like a champ when taking it to cali or Oregon. I absolutely love my GMC, it’s classy, roomy in my opinion and still technologically advanced. Only issue I seem to have with passengers is the lack of air flow to the back row wish there would be some sort of over head ac for those who have to sit in the back but it’s not an issue for me since I drive it lol
Sporty SUV
Love it! It’s like a small truck and SUV all in one

I would buy it all over again!
I put 188,000 miles on the vehicle. I drive long distances, and the vehicle began using oil or I would still have it! Great vehicle!

Great vehicle, loads of power
We've had our 2016 Terrain since it was new and I still love to drive it. This is our second vehicle, so it only has 40,000 miles on it. The only repair that we had done was replacing a fuel sensor that was covered under warranty. The rest has been regular oil changes, tire rotation, etc. This car is a rocket for its size. We have the 3.6 liter V-6 version, and it moves. A little heavy on gas usage if you gun it, but I'm 74 so my fun days are behind me. I think it's the flared fenders and dark blue metallic paint that I like to most. It also has the chrome luggage rack and SLT chrome package. It may be too much chrome for today's drivers, but I'm old school. Love the car and get tons of compliments. It is beautiful when washed and polished.

Good to me!

Lies about performance
Bought my 2016 Terrain with all Denali upgrades in 2020. Love it from day with very low milage, 20,400. Love the entire display and blue tooth. Do not know why some complain about performance. Didn't buy it to race. Do know however when riding with cruise on 75 still got more acceleration if needed. I often drive from home in NC coast to Myrtle Beach, SC 4-hour round trip. Do know with cruise on 63 I get 33 plus mpg. It does drop to 28 however with cruise on 75. Great safety features. Very informative info on small screen behind but visible through steering wheel. So glad I brought it. If any complaint (we all have to have one) been told by local dealer and GM diagnostic the navigation maps are not up dateable but my I phone comes in fine with the blue tooth. Give it a 9 1/2 stars.

Beware!
Beware a 2016 GMC terrain SLE. The engine consumes oil! You can’t go more than 500 miles without having to have an oil change. This car could kill you! I repeat do not buy! This car could kill you! They have had a class action lawsuit against them for scamming millions of Americans. GMC refuses to issue a recall for this hazard! They refuse to fix the issue! Beware do not buy this vehicle! It could kill you and your loved ones!
