2020 genesis g70 it's a money pit
So to start off I had literally the worst sales person ever who I literally refuse to deal with. I bought a model that was driven by a ceo in Toronto for 11k clicks it's got the sport, turbo 3.3 bs. On the pick up day they tell me it's not ready yet and they have to detail it and fix the brake !? The sales guy was so unprofessional I told him that's something I should have known before purchase. The the finance team hands me the keys and sends me off instead of delivering it and showing you how to use the car. Oh and they tried to sell me the car with summer tires in the middle of winter ! Why is this an issue ? ( Tired cost literally $3g on this thing). Sure enough any small pot hole will take out your tires so first month in that happened $1000 off the bat. Now a year later the AC is busted and apparently warranty is only for 1 year or 200000 kms. So that's not covered. They just quoted me $450 for a recharge. The wireless charger also broke ...the wireless connect services didnt work since day 1. And every damn 5k clicks this thing goes in for service. Not to mention insurance is alot too almost $300 a month I'm 27 female and have a good driving record. It's a money pit.

My worst nightmare
I leased this car based on the fabulous reviews however my experience has involved multiple trips to the dealership, parts being unavailable (8 months), being misled by the dealership from point of purchase to aftersales service. I have had ongoing issues with the car just about every month, including but not limited to: Trim discoloration, sunroof replacement, seat belts not retracting, the car going from drive into neutral, not being able to get the car from park into reverse without going back and forth several times and the most annoying is the Voice Command module in the car takes FOREVER to connect and you often have to switch to Siri on your phone. The GPS gives your directions after you have missed your turn and often gets confused in neighborhoods with small streets. Terrible gas mileage and no pick-up. There is no back seat to speak of but the back seats do fully fold down so your passengers can lay down in the back since your legs will not fit behind the front seats. Now the hood doesn't latch evenly on both sides.

A win a Zip
I have never been a Korean Car fan. A friend suggested me about Genesis. He advised me that years of Sony are over and Samsung is the new king. So I decided to try it. What a craftsmanship and details. Inline 4 Engine but with enough horse power and torque.
Autobahn Bomb
Absolutely love the car! People complaining about having to visit a plebeian Hyundai dealer should have taken their money (more money actually) somewhere else! Also, Genesis has service valet for the first three years of ownership. So if your in the dealer within the first 3 of ownership that's on you! I'd much prefer to have a loaner car dropped off at my house! Pros: Fast, Fun, Not Generic, Seat Comfort, I could go on and on! Cons: Gas mileage isn't great (then again I could blame launch control, interstate on ramps, etc.. for some of mpgs), backseat isn't huge (roughly the same size of my old 2012 Lexus IS backseat)
