Transit van is my ex-wife

Bought the van @23k miles, began changing brake pads every 20,000 miles (all 4 wheels). @80,000 miles I just bought new calipers and pads every time the brakes needed fixed. The electrical started messing up at 150,000. Weird stuff was happening. If I plugged my phone charger into one of the power ports, the transmission would start grinding and hard shifting. I went to a local transmission shop and discovered a rebuild was $8k because Ford put cross members around the transmission and all the mounting bolts will break off when loosening. Only by the grace of god did I unplug the cell phone charger and discover that 1 electrical circuit affects the transmission. It’s still working at 240k miles. The local ford dealership (Houston) has been awful. There was a factory recall on a driveshaft rubber bushing. Fords answer was to replace it every 40k miles instead of finding a permanent fix. During covid they required the van be parked in their lot and they would do the repairs when able. They kept my van for 3 weeks so they could do a 2 hour fix. On the other hand, I just love it. I’m 6’4” and can walk upright, plenty of room, easy to drive and the engine hasn’t stopped. I’ve replaced belts and hoses, but no major issues. I’ve been driving work vans for 20 years and this one is the best by far. It has already outlasted every ford, Chevy or dodge I’ve driven.
