Great Ride
A "Sleeper". For sure. Not bad from the lights either. I like to see the looks from muscle car drivers, when I do a gotcha on them at the lights. Just getting ready to do a 60,000 mile service along with upgraded exhaust system (reads more power) and a few other goodies, looking for about 35 40 hp. Increase (reads more fun).
Failed transmission
Trans went out on this F.O.R.D. I have had many cars and this is the ONLY one that had the trans fail. Wrote FORD for assistance on paying for this 1500 dollar repair and they said too bad so sad .

Older than my kids and runs like a charm
Mine has less than 25,000 original owner miles. Given to me as gift by original owner who I’ve known for years. I’m no dummy, this is the real total mileage. 25,000 not 250,000 lol

EXCELLENT CAR!!!
This car is excellent and fun to drive! It has 120,000 miles on it and still runs like a BRAND NEW car! I have had no problems whatsoever with this car. I would not hesitate to drive this car across country and back right now. It has plenty of power to pass anyone since it is very fast, and the styling is very good looking! I will ALWAYS drive a Ford and believe they will last and are the best cars on the market. All you people who complain about your cars must not take care of them because if you take car of your car, it WILL last you forever!
1994 SHO Good-Bad-Ugly
Overall, the best, most fun car I've ever had to drive. I have no complaints about the Yamaha engine. The combination of the exhaust and engine sound is a thing of beauty. Maintenance is/was expensive. I got 190,000+ miles on the original engine and tranny. I had a fair amount of problems with the electrical system, and thus the starter. I easily put at least 5 starters in this car within 12 years. I could never prove it, but I suspect a lot of the problems were related to a dealer installed Chapman alarm system. Worst things were, despite quarterly professional detailing, the paint started to flake and rust in 7 years. And interior (headliner and climate control buttons) rip/broke.
