V6 Has Plenty of Giddy up

Bought this in 2017 with 67000 mi on the odometer. It now has 81000 mi on the odometer (I don't drive that much). If you like the looks of 60s Mustangs, then this is it. The difference is that those were crude and rather unsafe. This is a modern car that has plenty of creature comforts. Back in the day, I owned a 1967 Mustang w/289 cu in V8. The 2012 V6 outperforms that car in so many ways. Just came back from a 1500 mi road trip and found it very easy to live with. EPA estimates 31 mpg/hwy., best I ever got was 28mpg/hwy. But as much as I drive, not an issue. Did some cosmetic work on it as well as replacing tires and wheels. Mechanically, a water pump at 68000 mi. Other than that, just routine maintanence. The Ford Sync stereo that came with the car was glitchy, a common problem. Replaced the head unit with a Kenwood which works great. If you can find one with the premium pkg, that is the way to go. It came with the better stereo, power drivers seat (pass pwr seat was an add-on option), as well as ambient lighting. All in all this is a fun to drive car, that won't break the bank.

Excellent automatic but wished I went Manual soon after getting to know the car. If your going to buy performance, what else can I say. New suspension, brakes, tires and DuPont paint, 79000 and running strong. Still have to take a few every time I get out of the car. 93789 miles, no major repairs outside of ac went south but repaired and strong. Would like to buy a jeep...can't part with my ride. Great car!

Alread forgot my bmw 1 series convertible. Enter the mustang gt convertible premium. This car is jam packed with value. The car has great ergonomics, the sync system works flawlessly, the engine is a beast of beasts and shocked me with it's pure power and torque. I expected the interior of car to be cheaply made. But to my surprise the car is beautifully appointed and laid out smartly. Not cheaply done at all. The shaker stereo rocks. Crisp highs and nice lows with no distortion. Bluetooth is amazing works great with the top down and wind blowing at 60 mph. Car handles great and has a great bite on the road. No doubt you get more car then a bmw and save over 10k. Its a no brainer.
