Great 'Stang

I never thought I'd buy a Ford car (I love the trucks), but when I took a test drive in the '05 Mustang, I drove off the lot and said "this is my car". Two days later I picked up the same car and drove it home. And it's been a thrill driving to work in the morning (a cool car helps the morning blues!) Great exterior from front to back and a kicking stereo system. Interior is tame and reminiscent of the late '60s models. Love it! Ford outdid themselves on this one-of-a-kind comeback!

Fun, fast, good fuel economy and runs on regular gas and gets a lot of high fives.

This car amazes me. It's just a v-6 but seems to have plenty of power. The same 6 as the Explorer traded in on it. Such a difference I'm amazed at the looks I get just driving around. Makes it well worth the price. It drives and handles very well for a non-performance version. Although it did snow the second day I had it and I had to remember how to drive with RWD, been a long time since I did that. But after a couple of miles it all came back to me. I guess thats the advantage of being over 50. Overall it's a very solid car, no back seat room to speak of but then again I wasn't looking for any.

After a four month wait I got my 'Stang. Have not had one in 20 years and what a car! I drive semi-performance autos and this Mustang GT blows them away. I am used to twice the price tag and I'd give the others away to keep this car. My Dad was with me to take delivery. He ordered the brand new '64 Mustang and waited over 4 months for his back in the day. He also worked as a Ford product specialist (trainer) for some time and has many track days under instruction. I let him drive back :-).

My Pony Car

This is my third Mustang. I started with a 6 cylinder. and never looked back. Number two was a GT and now I own the best looking 2005 GT made. White with red stripes. This is the greatest car I have ever owned. Power, performance and personality. From the red stripes to the red leather interior to the dash, this car says power. I recommend only the 5 speed. Why buy a GT then go with the auto transmission. Short shift is very easy, even in traffic. This is an all around great car. I love my pony.
