GT Convertible is a blast to drive
This is an awesome car. If you love Mustangs, you will be a fan. I have owned a 1971 coupe, 96 GT Convertible, and now this one. No other Mustang has been quite as satisfying. It drives smoother, feels roomier, and has a lot of "giddy-up." The lines of this car are phenomenal, with or without the spoiler. The interior is very satisfying, although you won't get a lot of the European/Japanese fancy features that can be very nice. It is a muscle car and it feels like a muscle car.
A horse of a different color
This car performers even better than it looks. No squeaks, rattles or cowl shake over bumps. Precise steering and a wonderful transmission.

Best Mustang in Years
This is one great car. I love the way it drives and sounds. Sixty-eight fastback was always my dream car, so when the new body style came out is was a have to have for me! Love it!
2005 Mustang Convertible V8
Things that I would change for the 2006 model: 1.The drivers seat is the most uncomfortable seat I have ever had in a car. Should be wider and more comfortable. I had to put a cushion on the seat. 2. Gas tank is too small; should be at least 20 gallons. You are at the gas station every time you go some place. 3. Stationary antenna should be a retractable one. 4. Passenger seat should have the option of having power so you can raise the seat. It's like sitting in a hole. It's too low. 5. There is no storage space accessible from the drivers seat. After you put a few CD's in the console you don't even have a place to put a map.
Gotta Love It!
My first car was a 1972 Mustang Mach 1 and I have been searching for a comparable vehicle ever since. Ford has done what I thought couldn't be done...the new 2005 Mustang GT delivers. It delivers power, styling and handling making this an extremely fun car to drive. The interior room has been vastly improved with the move to the Lincoln LS platform. Lots more headroom, though the back seat is really still only there for insurance purposes. As for handling - flat in curves and feels tight. The power is incredible. A real dream machine; best buy I ever made.
