The Time Has Come

I was born in 1963 - the same year the first Mustang was introduced. My first car was a 1967 Galaxie 500 - I really wanted a Mustang. Since I was 16 I've watched Mach 1 ads, loved the Cobras, and drooled every time I saw a Shelby. When I saw the '05 for the first time, the chills of history ran through me. I couldn't believe the perfection in the design. Then I heard the GT had 300 HP! I decided then, this would be the year. I got it two days ago. Nothing in my life has so dramatically exceeded my expectations. I am in awe of the people who had the artistic ability to pull the heritage of the Mustang with perfect craft and precision into this one car, truly in awe. Nicely done!

It's nice to be able to enjoy a performance car at this price level. The styling is retro in some ways but the features and ergonomics are 2005. Everything works at a fingertips reach and the feel of interior is superior to what we got in the past.

Legend GT lives!

All I can say is,what a fun car to drive! I have been driving this car for over a month now and it is simply exciting. The power, the sound of the throaty exhaust, the braking, the handling, just the total package. It also does fairly well on gas mileage; 19-21mpg isn't too bad for a 300 horsepower engine. Ford really did their homework on this car. The ride isn't bad considering the tire size and suspension set-up. I opted for the 5 speed transmission and I'm glad. It is so much fun shifting. The shifter has real short throws. Talk about head turning! I get stares everywhere.

My second Mustang

I can't begin to tell you how incredible the experience has been since buying my '05 Mustang. Not one day has passed that hasn't included at least 2 people coming up to tell me how "hot" or "awesome" this black beauty looks. The new design meets all the expectations that were put out before it's arrival, and the performance of the new 200 hp engine is more than enough for city driving. It's almost embarrassing to drive because it turns heads wherever I go. Truly awesome and a dream come true. Thanks to all the Ford designers who are responsible for this MASTERPIECE!

2005 Ford Mustang GT Premium 2dr Convertible (4.6L 8cyl 5M)

This car is amazing! It feels looks and performs like a vehicle two classes above what it's in. For $33.5 loaded, you just can't get a better looking and performing car anywhere. To match it you'd need to spend at least $45k. I almost gave in a bought a coupe when they hit the market, but am so glad I waited for the convertible. Hint - to really change it and make its classic lines more evident, order it without the spoiler.
