This is my first and last Mustang
It is not a performance car. It is very slow at the start and feels very heavy; it has "no" traction control though they claim it has ( I wonder do they really understand what that is); driver's seat is very uncomfortable for longer rides; visibility is very poor; a heating system takes forever to clear the back window and side mirrors (and it turns itself off in just a few minutes); the AC unit stinks because the engine heats the interior greatly; the sound system is junk probably in all respects; the cup holders location is useless if you have a stick; glove compartment is a joke; and mileage (WOW) 12.5 per gallon(city and freeway) - that's a scam.Think twice.
The Horse Lives Again
I recently bought a 2005 Metallic Blue, Mustang GT and it was easily the most fun car I have ever driven. You can feel the force of the acceleration by barely tapping the gas pedal and the stiff suspension allows it to take tight turns with ease. The retro body style is very appealing and I receive many fascinated glances from other motorists. The roar of the engine lets everyone know that this car has some serious power. The Mustang is an absolute joy to drive and it will definitely get you noticed.

Just like many others out there, I've been salivating over the '05 Mustang since Ford first announced the new design. I just got my car (Silver w/ black leather interior) and let me tell you, it's worth every penny. The dealer was telling me that Ford is overwhelmed by demand and buyers are waiting 6 months for delivery of their GT's. I would like to share with you that it is possible to get one. I didn't order my car in advance, but rather convinced the salesman that I was a serious buyer and to call me if a buyer who ordered one changed his mind when the car came in. He (to my amazement) called a week later. I was at the dealer within 90 minutes. They didn't even charge over sticker!
HARD TO BELIEVE...WHAT A GREAT RIDE!
WHAT A SURPRISE...THE RIDE, STYLING, CONFORT, POWER, LOOKS, INTERIOR, QUITE, ETC, ETC...A MUSTANG USED TO BE A LOWER END, FUN TO DRIVE CAR.....NOW WHAT FORD HAS DONE, IS TO REDESIGN THIS CLASIC, AND MAKE A TRUE LUXURY PERFORMANCE CAR....THE RIDE IS SO SMOTH, QUIET, AND THE ROAR OF THE V-8 IS AWESOME....I HAVE HAD ALL THE TRUE HIGH END LUXURY CARS, YES THE ONES THAT START WITH F, P, J AND M....FOR MY MONEY THIS IS AS GOOD, AS ANY OF THOSE...AND PRICE WORKS FOR ME, EVEN THOUGH, I DID PAY THE BIG DEALER MARK-UP...BUT WHAT THE HECK, TO BE THE FIRST ONE ON THE BLOCK IS ALL WORTH IT, AND IT BEING THE METALIC RED, IT EVEN LOOKS FAST...LOVE IT!
fantastic horse
My overall experience with this vehicle has been fantastic. The power is breath taking, the interior design is well thought out, and the driving experience is exhilarating. This car is everything advertised and more. No accessories needed for this gem, it has everything you could ever want.
