Used 2002 Ford Mustang Consumer Reviews
Fun car but could use improvements
I just bought the car. I am remotley satified. Pretty car. Will see how it holds up.
Best Bang for the Buck
It's my 3rd Mustang GT. I've had a 94, 96 and 99 each having over 100K by the time I traded them in.No mechanical failures on any of them, and with minimal maintenence. Because I travel alot for work, I've opted to buy a car that does great on the highway. It's comfortable in long range trips, as it is in city driving. It's not a bone jarring ride like most other coupes. Quiet ride for the most part, V8 burble only makes itself heard on hard accelrations and wind noise is well controlled.

6 to one, half dozen to the other
We had the car for a month or so until we noticed the ground effects in the front were warped. We were told by Ford that we could either leave it alone or have them replace it.I elected to leave it alone. Overall, we were impressed with the acceleration and amenities of the car, along with the build quality of the somewhat dated interior. We were happy with the looks of the car and the Mach 460 sound system whether the top was up or down!
Enjoyment
I just purchased a 2002 Mustang GT Premium Coupe package, with the help from this site. I am very pleased with the looks, performance and handling. You don't have to be a Ford fan (for all those haters out there)to enjoy the thrill of a great looking vehicle, and the quick response from the 4.6L engine.
Finally got my mustang
Though I have only had my new mustang for a couple of weeks I am enjoying it immensly. It has just the right amount of get up and go and is good on gas. I purchased a stock coupe with an automatic and it has everything I need. It's a real pleasure.
