Can't go wrong with American Muscle

Girlfriend and I recently purchased the GT with less then 70,000 miles. Engine runs as good as anyone I have ever driven. The power is NICE! Don't have to worry about passing traffic or getting on the freeway. It's nice knowing those 300 pounds of torque are ready on tap anytime you need them. The car looks great with the top down and sure is a head turner where ever we go. For a 2002 model this car can almost kick the living crap out of any other car on the road when it comes to racing. 260 horse power and 302 pounds of torque well you get the picture. 0-60 in 5.4 secs and a quater mile time of 14.00 at 101 miles an hour, well that sure beats most imports by a mile even in 2009.

I have had it with this car. I find myself challenged by Camaros from the late 80s. Even the 5.0 Foxes of days gone can give me a good run for the money. Where's the improvement, Ford? On the AutoX, because the rear-end is too high, I tend to fishtail out. I'm not a bad driver, either. FOr the money I could spend in mods, I would rather save up and buy an F-bod. GM, come back, I'm sorry!

A lot of bang for the money

I purchased my 2002 GT in March of 2007 after waiting many years to be able to afford one. This car is a real head turner in Laser Red with the factory 5 spoke aluminum rims. I have upgraded the exhaust with a set of Flowmaster 40's (mufflers) and the intake with a K&N cold air intake. Both aftermarket options cost about $500 installed and completely changed the car and woke it up. Would recommend these ad-ons to anyone. A real fun dependable fuel efficient car for the money. I bought the car with 49,000 miles on it and now have 57,000 and I have done nothing but change the oil and put rear brake pads on it.

One of the best Mustangs Ford ever made. My brother had a 03 yellow GT and it was a very reliable car. Had only 72,000 miles on it and survived an accident into a telephone pole. The 4.6 V8 is a great engine and gets the best out of the Mustang.

New car owner 1 year late

I recently bought the 2002 v-6 5-speed mustang in Feburary 2003. It is brand new with only 38 miles. I traded my 1988 v-6 auto camaro in with 161,000 miles, when I seen the mustang advertized for under $12k. Over-all it handles great. After driving it a couple of weeks and 2 washings, a small area on the front bumper has the clear coat blistered, so the car is currently back at dealer where they are repainting the bumper. I owned my camaro for 14 yrs, so am seeing if this mustang will last as long with as much mileage. So far, I am verrrry pleased with entire car.
