Mustang Magic at 20yrs and 200k miles

2002 Ford Mustang Premium 2dr Convertible (3.8L 6cyl 4A)

Bought this with 149k miles, now 191k and running great. Just fell in love with this Convertible. Previous owners were obviously car guys like myself because for a 2002 she is so well kept and I continue that. Most fun EVER in this Mustang whuch will see 250k plus miles and just rolls. Check fluids constantly with these 3.8 litre mills, if windows stop working dont go off and start replacing electric motors, Ive found with a little homework that 90 perecent if the time its just the switches that are bad so save youreself some serious money. Remember youre driving an 20yr car and at that age youre gonna have some minor issues BUT do homework and find a local shop that will work with you i.e. by being honest and not soaking youre wallett dry which they will if they see you as un- informed. So know youre. Mustang, which in my humble background: Convertible Mustangs at any year are the MIST GRATIFYING AND FUN CAR youll ever own.

I think it is a great car I feel like driving it more than even my favorite car the corvette,it has filled my every need and more and for less than 25,000 I dont think u can get a better deal. off the list of most affordable convertibles there is no car faster or better than the mustang.

This car is great. The performance is the main selling point. I got my Stang for my second childhood. The only thing I find fault in is the front seat design. The GT does not have a head rest that actually works. Besides that the car is great, perfomance out of the box is more than impressive, and best of all the chicks love it.

I am finally a mustang owner. The 2002 mustang I recently purchased has lived up to all of the hype. I am impressed with the styling and the way the car drives and handles. This mustang has hertiage written all over it. What an incredible piece of american muscle.

Girlfriend and I recently purchased the GT with less then 70,000 miles. Engine runs as good as anyone I have ever driven. The power is NICE! Don't have to worry about passing traffic or getting on the freeway. It's nice knowing those 300 pounds of torque are ready on tap anytime you need them. The car looks great with the top down and sure is a head turner where ever we go. For a 2002 model this car can almost kick the living crap out of any other car on the road when it comes to racing. 260 horse power and 302 pounds of torque well you get the picture. 0-60 in 5.4 secs and a quater mile time of 14.00 at 101 miles an hour, well that sure beats most imports by a mile even in 2009.
