Road trip

First off love this car. Had it 1 month impressive. Complaint…. Terrible for a road trip longer than 1 charge. Great around town. Just went from bay tea to San Diego and back. Typically say 10 hrs. Give or take. The charging at third party kiosks is a nightmare. Slow charges, poor billing apps on your phone. If you have spotty service while trying to charge you’re in trouble. Sometimes have to pay with digital wallet. Some let you pay with credit card. Slow charges are a waste of time as it takes 8 hours or more to get full charge. 350 chargers good. Maybe full charge in 45 mins. Available chargers limited. Drive around Manteca for an hour plus trying to find high speed charging while batteries almost dead. Again this car is awesome but if Ford is going to roll these out they absolutely have to get into the charging game. Tesla appears to be more thought out but Tesla charging does not work on Ford. FYI at some of the Tesla charging spots say 39 spots ….. all taken !!!! For us going with a ccs saw people having to wait 2 hours for an available charger while their batter was close to dying. Definitely need fast charhlging capability by way of chademo. Either that or Ford. Needs more battery power. Definitely buy bigger battery if you can otherwise road trips are prohibited. Normal 20 hour trip to us 18 hours. Third party kiosks are the weakest link. We got about 180 miles on a full charge.

Owned a SR Premium AWD a month. Tech takes getting used to, but awesome drive, ride, and the looks and comments and people that you get coming up to it says it all. Charging stations/network needs improvement, but that’s not Fords fault. Charge at home in a 240 and you’re good! Best car I’ve owned. Solid fit and finish and what a ride

I’ve had my premium AWD extended battery for two weeks now and I’m totally excited every time I get behind the wheel. The performance, tech and build quality beats anything from Tesla and for the price beats just about any other competitors. Still slight concerns about buying a first year of a totally new model but I’m very impressed so far and very happy with my purchase.

E-Muscle, is that a thing?

It is early days with my Mach E-GT… as a previous owner of multiple Mustangs, I am still not comfortable calling it a Mustang… This car is a game changer. I love the outside aesthetic, future yes, EV yes, Crossover, not muscle yes, but still there is some long lost homage to the Mustang Muscle. I am impressed with this finish and the solidness of the vehicle. Honestly, the interior was better than I imagined, especially given some of the knocks on it in online reviews. Again, I found the interior balanced forward with all you would expect of a EV, but it also retain a feel of sportiness lacking in the EV headliners. The duel suede seats, and suede siding is a nice touch… we will see over time how it functions. Bottom line, this is the nicest vehicle I have ever owned, and if early indications hold true… the driving will be the most fun I have ever had!

Great car let down by reliability

I have a 2 month old AWD extended range. Great car to drive, lots of kit, but range is nowhere near that claimed. After 2500 I have had 2 faults. Staff at Ford pleasant but the company systems are a nightmare. To arrange a repair and get a courtesy car for the latest fault has taken 7 phone calls snd an email so far. The contrast between Toyota/ ale us is extreme. I will never buy a ford again
