Fusion Conclusion
Bought it 5 years ago w/ 22k miles. Has 107k today. 2011 SEL 3.0 V6 AWD Great ride, handling and performance. It's quick, quiet & comfortable. No complaints. The AWD gets me through 5" of snow easily. Has been reliable. No break downs. No major repairs, till today. The AWD transfer case is leaking. It will cost $1200-$1500 to repair. ($2k at Ford dealership.) I still feel I got great value out of the car. I have put no money in it in 5 years other than maintenance items. (Tires, oil changes, etc.) It's an awesome car. I'd recommend it to anyone. MPG varies, 25-27 on the highway, 18-20 city.

A Nice Surprise
Hadn't considered buying a Fusion until I saw one that looked like a pretty good deal for the mileage, age, and features. Upon doing some research and finding many positive owner reviews, I went for it. This car has been such a pleasure to drive and is as surefooted and reliable as my Volvo S60 ever was, and I loved that car. So a really good find and a happy driver/owner.

Great Car
This is a great car! Researched all the mid size cars and chose the Fusion. Glad I did. Always have been a GM man but this car just is better than the Malibu.
SE manual trans
I have to agree with the previous reviewer. My biggest complaint, and it ain't much, is the gear spacing. At 65 I'm turning 2500 RPM, where an automatic turns about 2000. Ford must have bought the trans from a different car company, and stuck it in the Fusion, with no engineering changes, other than fitment. It's a shame. Otherwise the car is quiet, rides really nice, and is very comfortable. I'm very happy with the car, but with a gear change, I could be ecstatic. I can easily drive at 40 MPH in 6th with no problem. Should not be the case. Average 26 mpg around town (suburban) and have hit 36 mpg at 65 mph. Going on a 2400 mile trip next week. Will see then what it does.
