Won't Stop Running
I bought my 2011 in 2012 it was a program vehicle. I love it and up until this year I had no issues. In May 2014 when I removed my key from the ignition the car motor was still running. I was able to put the car in gear and drive with the key in my hand. My husband pulled the battery cable to get the car to shut off. I called the local Ford Dealership and took the car in to check it over. They told me it was a bad battery, so I replaced the battery. In September 2014 the car started doing the same thing again. I took the car back to the same Ford dealership and they called the Ford Hotline and was told it was a valve. $88 later and my car still will not shut off, we have to pull fuses.
Heavily advise to not get the four-cylinder
I have owned this car since 2012 and of course the first couple years is a wonderful car it drives very good on the highway but thank Goodness I found another car as my daily driver I’m currently averaging 15 to 20 highway currently in this car I have had trouble with the transmission at 125,000 miles I was advised to replace it I did I’ve done about four spark plug changes between all of this the sticker says 23 to 32 I’ve never gotten over 28 without putting premium gas in this thing on a 100% highway if anyone is looking to buy this car I would recommend looking at Fuelly for any car you are looking at it if you’re getting idea of a car true mileage sure twoorthree MPG’s difference with power is a good trade off in this car I have test driven it and compared with people it’s a 3300 pound midsize sedan the intended power plant is a V-6 it acceleration is just lackluster the interior is very upscale besides the performance its very good for this car except for the driver door handle replaced that about three times now made poorly the car is wonderful to look at but with the base engine as they always say looks can only get you so far AC lines are known to crack or replace had to replace blower motor cuts on when it wants to now or not

Fusion a disappointment
I have the the SEL 2.5L 4cyl and have experienced the same sort of less than stellar gas mileage. It has almost 6800 miles on it now, about 65% of those are highway and the highest it has hit is 29mpg but the city average is only 24 mpg, a far cry from the 33 highway it claims. In addition, I think the transmission feels rough on both acceleration and deceleration and I have had it in for some braking issues that have been present since I have owned it straight off the lot. At first they told me I had warped rotors (on a brand new car) and they spun them. I made them replace them after that but it is still doing a shudder/hesitation motion when I brake. So far I have been very underwhelmed.
Fusion 2011 Engine shutdown
Bought my car from Frontier Ford mid 2011. Never go there again. The service department is unreliable too. The car loss power while driving (doesn't matter what speed). Take it to fix 4 times. Couldn't fix it. Ford or the dealership won't admit to any issue. IN fact, they said that my warranty ran out. Told me I should have bought the extended warranty. For the past 2 years, I have been dealing the loss of power in the car. Now I understand the statement "What do see on the middle of the road? A DEAD FORD"
