Small SUV on steroids!
This will do it...watch.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7NCe3ybRQM Bought this baby for 9 grand. It was already rebuilt with 34 k on it. With a couple weeks of my own tlc, I have a kickass little road warrior that gets thumbs up wherever I go. Interior is spotless. The previous owner had a lot of money in aftermarket parts on it. Custom wheels , Cobb upgrades, and cool graphics. Carries my rowing shell. My sons love it....and they both drive sporty BMWs. Still rocking in the USA The Seatbelts Rock Detroit.

2016 ST 1 Month Review
Had the vehicle for a littler over a year now. Still loving the car, hate the traction control but you can turn it off, I just wish you could program it to stay off. I did have an oil leak that needed to be fixed. I will say that if you live in the Houston Texas area, do NOT buy from Tomball Ford.

Actually not buying due to the Recaro Seats
This car is completely awesome EXCEPT for the Recaro seats. I am an average male. 5 feet 10 inches tall and 185 pounds. The Recaro seats are the most uncomfortable seats ever. I test drove the car for about 30 minutes and my legs were smashed together the entire time and actually started to get numb. The back area isn't quite as bad but certainly not comfortable. The ONLY negative comments anyone has on this car is the Recaro seats. Edmunds review said the same thing. They look great but you can't sit in them. If you want either of the two option packages you HAVE to get them. I understand they are for high speed cornering but how many people actually take the car on a race track. What an absolute shame Ford makes you get these seats. (Not if you get the base model but it isn't near as nice) Plus, the people that designed these seats can't be comfortable seating in them. I'm sure a small percentage of people like them but it will cost more sales than get sales. Make sure you take a long test drive sitting in them before you buy. VERY DISAPPOINTED

It’s Not Perfect
I bought it used, a Ford Focus ST 2017 with 24k miles on it. The only aftermarket mod it had was a weird cold air intake that stick out through the cowl area. I noticed that every time it rained the car would stalled when engaged in gear or just sitting in neutral. I suspected it was the intake, we change it for an injen cold air intake and change the oil. After a couple months the car’s engine blew up while driving normally not even on a wide open throttle pull, to be specific it made a hole in the block. Engine was replace under warranty and now the car it’s been working fine, and hopefully it’ll stay like that. Maybe the previous owner had a tune on it or didn’t maintain it well or maybe both. This definitely has make me distrustful of the focus st platform. Most people I know from this community recommends the fiesta st instead of the focus st so that says a lot, but at the same time I know focus st owners who never had an engine related issue. Anyway for now I will continue the ownership but I will probably never own another Ford vehicle. On the positive side, this car handles great, it’s definitely a vehicle you will enjoy driving. The factory suspension setup is between stiff and yet comfortable. Fuel economy it’s relatively good but not amazing. Boost comes on really strong early, will probably make it big turbo and replace the internals with forged ones just to play it safe. It has such a big aftermarket support for mods that you’re constantly gonna find yourself shopping for stuff you didn’t even had plans to buy. I think if you’re on a budget it’s a great entry level sporty hatchback, but if money is not an issue go for Civic Type R or Golf R or just wait for that new Corolla GR. I hope this help future buyers considering to buy a focus st.
