Everything we expected
My wife an I purchased a white hatchback (we tinted the windows) about 20,000 miles ago. Taken a trip from Detroit to NC and one to Fla. In the city we are getting 32.5 mpg. On the highway with just my wife and I (no luggage) we get 45.0 mpg. The car is quiet with little noise from without. could us a little more room for my right leg while driving. Other than that, we have had no dissapointments with this car. Glad we bought the standard shift..lots of fun.
2011 Ford Fiesta with Dual Clutch Manual Auto Trans in Blue Flame
I LOVE my car! Bought used in 2013 and 2 months later took a trip from No. KY to TN and then on to LA and then back. For the first leg of the trip, I filled before leaving home, went about 150 miles to pick up Dad, then on to TN another 250. All up and down hills, and ONE tank of fuel! I was speechless! Yes, that transmission takes a little to get used to. Thought something was wrong with it UNTIL I read the owner's manual. You just have to LISTEN to the shifting to get it right. If you accelerate moderately, you won't get that jerky feeling. I could not be happier with it. I drive over 100 miles a day and gas mileage is great. Started with 23K miles and now over 65K on it.

Finally Took the Plunge!
Originally interested in the Mazda 2 and the Honda Fit. Although the Fit was impressive with its huge cargo space, the ride proved tinny and the vehicle offered no pickup. The Mazda 2 gave us better pickup, but the ride was noisy and bumpy on the side roads we drove on. At the last minute, we made the decision to check out the Fiesta and it was love at first sight. It looks like a "sportsover" - the look of a sports car from the front and the look of a miniature crossover from the rear. The drive is quiet and the car takes all the turns well. As far as the mileage goes, we've had the car for about two weeks and are still on the same tank of gas. Interior is impressive as well as roomy.
Cute Car, Needs some things addressed.
I test drove this car and have decided to put off my purchase till they get some things fixed, see below and I drove the automatic (dual clutch). The car handles well and is very quiet. 1. Please use some heavier moldings where the windshield meets the hood, those on each should be molded plastic instead of soft rubber. 2. Eliminate the crazy/strange striping (piping) on the cloth seat options. 3. Cruise and a nicer (more wattage please) radio should come standard on the SE. 4. Please fix the random jerking of the dual clutch trans and the sometimes unwillingness of the car to downshift. Also 3200-3300 RPM at 70 mph is a bit high. (the trans needs a better warranty)/Needs armrest.
Loving my FIESTA SEDAN!
I recently picked up my new fiesta sedan SE, and very happy, find it to be an excellent choice, because i do a lot of km per year, i will save on fuel. For the money, i got all the options i wanted. I chose the SEDAN, because i travel a lot, and wanted a trunk that locks and fits / protects my belongings, plus i think it looks cute. On the highway, this car actually stays in line and doesn't get affected by crosswinds, which it typical in this size of car, but it drove like a bigger car. i wanted to write this review to share my thoughts and mention that this is a terrific all around vehicle that will suit many people. :) test drive it and you will see what i mean
