Used 2020 Ford F-450 Super Duty Crew Cab Consumer Reviews
Nothing special
So last year I purchased a 2020 ford f-450 in the last week of August, from crossroads Ford in Sanford NC, for my hotshot trucking company. From the start I have had the worst experience with ford. The most recent event was my on January 12, 2020 you truck in which I purchased less than a year ago has broken down. Turns out the truck has a faulty transmission and apparently after a lot of research this is common , so common that Ford is in the process of arbitration because of it. but instead of pulling their truck they continue to see these trucks to the public. today is now February 22,2021 and after 40 plus days and numerous phone calls where I was hung up on by the cooperate office (resolution center), told I would be called back and never called back and treated like a factory defect was my fault. I have almost lost my business because of this. To be a startup company and already be loosing my transportation account is a nightmare. The unprofessionalism of Ford is ridiculous. I will never Purchase another ford. I'm currently still without my truck.
Bad ass truck
I purchased a brand new 2020 F-450 from Lithia Ford in Boise, Idaho. I have put 39,000 miles on it towing heavy equipment. It is the Platinum Super Duty package and luxurious beyond words. 35,500 towing capacity this is a bad ass beast of a truck. Almost daily strangers approach me and say "Wow, that is a great looking truck". I am extremely pleased with my decision to buy this truck and very satisfied with the service from Lithia Ford.

Found On Road Dead. See the humor in it or not
Bought my truck in July of 2020 for my transportation company to haul various freight. Since that time, my truck has had defective transmission (which was rebuilt), defective front end parts (which caused death wobbles), electrical issues (which was finally figured out mostly after 3 attempts) and now my high pressure fuel pump has catastrophically failed. The pump came apart inside (metal scraps) in the fuel pump. The fuel pump failed at night on a busy freeway, so thankful I was not killed that night. Not to mention there are only parts at the manufacturing plants, no parts anywhere (OEM). I bought extended warranty which has saved my behind. I have been in contact with FORD's customer care team, and seems once they found out it was the fuel pump.............silence from them. My business is almost to failing now and I am so so disappointed that I put my confidence in their product. And to think I was going to buy more trucks..NOT. Will never purchase any FORD vehicles again. I know that every manufacturer has issues nonetheless but this experience has left me disgusted. The dealership has been trying so hard to correct the issue but for what, so something else blows up.

Previous owner
I was the previous owner of this truck. It towed my 39’ 5th wheel like it was not even there. Has the engine brake on it so going down hills was easy. The only problem that I had with it was that I was getting too old to climb up into it with bad hips and all. The ride is rough on some roads, but fine on others. It also has the fifth wheel hitch still on it, which is rated at 35k. It will tow whatever you need towing. It’s nickname is BAT for Bad Ass Truck! Lol!
