Used 2014 Ford F-350 Super Duty Consumer Reviews
Worn out after 11 years
I got this truck new and has been a daily work vehicle and used to tow heavy loads with gooseneck. The towing power is poor and the transmission does not hold back any on steep slopes. It is not ideal for towing. It has had a significant shake at 45 mph since new that never went away. Had to replace the computer and not sure how many times the exhaust manifold needed repair. Front axles just went out at 140000. It is so rough to drive I have significant back pain at the end of the week. It was ok when new but is now completely worn out. Busted a brake line the other day and when they jacked it up they noticed all the cross members under the frame have rusted out. It has seen hard use but I have done all scheduled maintenance, it is just done after 11 years.

Switched to Ford
I have driven 4 different GM vehicles since 1997. Last vehicle was a 2007 GMC Sierra HD SLT iwth a duramax engine. All these vehicles. have been reliable and I have had few issues. I finally bit the bullet and bought a F350 King Ranch with diesel due to numerous features FORD offers. I am pleased with the ride, driving amenities and the fuel mileage. It is very comfortable to sit in and is easier to manouerve in spite of being a longer vehicle. The engine is definitely quieter and smoother. Very pleased with the switch

why not to buy a ford
Dear Ford Management Thank you for the poor attempt at help. I spoke to the regional manager. He confirmed that the computer looked at the pictures from the dealership and as before they concluded a rock hit caused the crack. He even admitted that the crack was quite extensive and unusual for a impact point of less tan 2mm (the size of a pen point). He still could not explain how a rock hit the windshield with enough force to cause that large of a crack where the impact is under the blade of the windshield wiper. I have told every one the crack happened in my driveway, when I turned on the air, yet they all have stopped just short of calling me a liar.
So-So
This car is a good example of a love- hate relationship. Towing, Off- Roading, Hauling, and just about anything else this trucks does with ease. The ride quality is very bad though, being very bouncy especially compared to the new Sierra. The interior is very disappointing to, being very ugly.
