They keep making them better and better

Before I buy new 3/4 ton - many since 1974, I always test drive a Ford, Chevy, GMC and Dodge to see which one is best for ride, hauling, appearance inside and out, mpg information, noise level and overall feel. The Ford F250 or F350 has always been my 1st choice. Dodges rust out far o fast. Chevy always come in a close 2nd mainly because of small appearance issues for me. I pull a boat and a 30' camper from Spring thru November. The Ford F250 Lariat 6.2, 4x4, 430 rear end, super cab continues to be my best choice. Lots of complements. Yes the diesel would pull me up the mountains faster and give me a little better fuel mileage, but in my opinion the diesel is not worth the extra cost to get to the top of the hill first. Ride comfort and handling is great and continues to improve over the years. My only problems over the many years of ownership of many F250's, is the Quick Service personal occasionally do not do exactly what they have been paid to do. All the vehicles seem to have a few recalls, so this has not been a problem for me. The aluminum body is nice and no rust where I have chipped the paint a few times. I would and will buy another new F250 or F350 in the future.

I've been a f250 owner for the past 15 years, owned 5 of them. I currently have 2017 that has the famous death wobble. The truck has been to Ford of Clermont dealership 3 different times for a total of 8 days. They replaced the steering linkage/damper twice with no success to fixing the problem. The leadership at the dealership has taken no accountability to provide to solution. I reported the issue with a case number to corporate, surprise no follow up from and no solutions. My current status of the truck is very dangerous to drive. Ford is being sued in a class action lawsuit for selling these super duty trucks fully knowing they're having this wide spread problem. I'm in the process of shopping the competition, but my brand loyalty is changing after after so many years. My only hope is enough unhappy owners will spread the word and avoid the problems I'm experiencing with Ford Motor Company.

This truck is tough, tougher, and toughest all at the same time. I have owned 2 Rams and one Chevrolet. This F250 with the 6.7 Powerstroke is a monster. I could tow my house down the road with it. I cannot say enough about this truck. Completely awesome truck. Nothing bad to say. 03-09-2020, had it over a year now, STILL the most awesome truck I have ever owned, no problems whatsoever. Great truck.

GM owner for 60 years. After 2 back to back failures of 2008 & and 2027 Chevrolet trucks I bought this Ford diesel. Fantastic ride, excellent fuel mileage, I love it

I’ve had the know Death Wobble since 30,000 miles and after several visits to the dealer, it still happens. $50,000 and we are scared to drive it.

Great truck so far. I’ve owned it 9 months. I purchased the dark magnetic grey with the 6.2 gas. Gets lots of looks and it runs strong :)

Purchased this vehicle used with 60k on the clock.. 6.2 gas model that the previous owner had used to tow a RV. He had taken good care of her services records indicated only basic maintenance and no major issues. At 70k I experienced a check engine light which was diagnosed as a misfire on several cylinders. I’m currently traveling around this beautiful country of ours, towing a 12k # fifth wheel, so I replaced all 16 plugs, 8 coil packs, wires and air filter. Glad I did. Noticeable increase in power and my towing mpg also increased. When not towing, this truck is very comfortable and enjoyable to drive. It’s easy to park and the only negative I can comment on are the rear doors on the Supercab, which open opposite the front doors, can sometimes be a challenge in parking spaces, when you need to load groceries, I’m hoping to get many more years of service from this truck.

Constant EGR repair on 2017 F250

We bought this beautiful truck new. It's been in the dealership multiple times, because the check engine light comes on. The dealership says it's the EGR and replaces it. The truck will run nicely for maybe 3 months before the check engine light comes on again. Many times when the light comes on the top speed will be between 40 and 12 mph. This happens at some of the most inconvenient times. Thankfully, I bought an extended warranty, and I don't pay for these repairs. I'm no longer confident with this truck. I pull a 40 ft fifth wheel, and I dread the day I'm out of state or town, and the check engine light comes on again. I had a 2008 before trading it in on the 2017. The 2008 did the death wobble and slowed or totally stopped in 3 lanes of traffic once.

2017 F250 SD is a decent truck so far

I bought my 2017 F250 used with 41,106 miles on it in December of 2021. Only thing I have to say is the gas mileage is not Great but, you have to expect that it's a 6.2 gasoline. I really like the Truck. Only issue I had so far is a VTT solenoid vale went out of it the seal it's in went bad and was causing a misfire. Cost me a new set of Plugs(16) + parts VTT Solenoid, Seal and Valve Cover Gasket, Located under Valve Cover. + Laber Total $1200.00 Buy Plugs @ a parts store / not Dealership ,very Expensive. Over all Good Truck ... I Like the Truck!!! Take care of it, will last!!
