Used 2011 Ford F-250 Super Duty Consumer Reviews
2011 Update
Well it's now been 6 months with my new diesel and it's been great! The only thing I took the truck in for was an update to flash the truck to 400 hp, 800 ft. lb of torque. This new diesel has been a major success so far, don't believe some of the negative reviews as they are probably being submitted by competitors. Ford seems to really be on top of this diesel and wants feedback from its customers.
Happy So Far
I only have about 700 Miles On My XLT 4x4 So Far So Good , No Problem, This is My First New Ford truck In About 20 Years , Great Ride , Radio Could Be Better, Blue Tooth Standard Would Be Nice. Fuel Mileage Is At 13.6 MPG
- XLT DieselMSRP: $36,79914 mi away
- XLTMSRP: $9,99529 mi away
- XLMSRP: $13,99537 mi away
It's a Brute!
Driving the "KING" 250 super duty Lariat (loaded version) for 4100 miles with 6.7 power stroke and find the truck solid as a rock. This is my first Ford truck; driven GMC/Chevy products for years. Over 18 mpg around town and over 19 mpg highway. Trailer towing is cake. No smoke and no noise for the new scorpion engine. Power up the whazzoo. Six speed transmission is smooth and not overly busy. It's early but have had other new trucks back many times in less miles.
My 2011 6.2 F250
I've got 1300 miles on the truck. Today I used the manual transmission option and to my surprise pulling my 20 foot boat on a tandem trailer, windy and hilly it really did a nice job. Was able to keep the power and rpm where I wanted them. A very pleasant surprise. Great truck. 12 mpg city. About 9 mpg pulling in ugly conditions so far. Rides nice. Seats are softer. Heat and cooling seats are nice in a Lariat. Will be taking it on a 1,000 mile trip in a month to see what the mileage is.
Simply the best ever
Ford has really showed their interest in their customer wants. Here it is at the lights a brand new 300 chrsyler hits his horn and points at the light. I gave him the horn and of course reaction is my middle name , and all the way up to 90 mph he steps out of it side by side. What a rush. Oh the wife was pist but hell it was worth it.The reason for this episode was the truck now has 140000.00 and never once did the ck engine light come on. Went in for a transmission calibration and that was it. Out standing truck. All the bells and whistles. Keep changing the syn. oil every 5000 miles.
