Used 2006 Ford F-150 Consumer Reviews
Perfect at 38k miles
yes, mileage not so good, but it is heavy. 16 mpg highway, 14 city, less in the winter. Towing 6k pound trailer on highway 13 mpg, not too bad considering total weight over 13k pounds with people/gear. Sad to hear of other peoples problems, but at 37k miles been perfect, not a thing wrong. No wet carpet, 3rd brake light fine no leak, rear window no squeak.
Ford makes a great, durable truck
When I first went to the dealership, I was originally looking for a small car for my grandmother. I had gotten my license about a week earlier and had already put a down payment on a BMW, but when I saw the truck over on the other side of the lot I was thinking, I bet I can drive one of those!" So we took it for a test drive and I was hooked ... the interior was beautifully designed, and it handled very well, I honestly was impressed, because I always thought of trucks as big, clunky hunks of work-type vehicles, but now I know otherwise.

2006 F-150 FX4
A great all around truck. More power and torque then you will ever need. Stylish design inside and out.
Nice Truck
F-150 Lariat 4x4 is tough offroad and smooth on the highway. 5.4L V8 engine is tops and interior styling is the best I have seen on any other truck hands down. Seating is very comfortable and ergonomic. Very quiet smooth ride with plenty of interior storage.
excellent
This is the best truck I have ever owned. I used to be a Toyota fan, but the quality of the F150 is unbelievably excellent. The safety is second to none and the ride, comfort and quiet cab is surprising.
