A/C Problems from day 1

The AC does not seem to work properly. Checked it out 5 days after delivery and found nothing. I now think that it is the controller for the auto-temp air. The dampers may not work correctly.

I have nothing but great things to say about my truck. It doesn't get the best gas mileage in the world, but heck...it's a Super Crew 4x4, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT? I think the ride is superior to other trucks I test drove. And I love the interior. All in all I am 100% happy with my purchase. I bought mine during the "Family Plan" promotion....I bought it for about $10k less than some of my friends bought theirs for (same truck same options)!

Good, but could be the absolute best

This week I traded in my first F150, a one-owner 1994 green XL 4x4, for a new silver 2006 SLX 4x4. In other words, a slightly upgraded version of the same truck. The old truck had served me well for 12 years. It still had original parts except for the water pump and gas tank. Its last task was over Memorial Day weekend when I used it to yank 25 feet of corrugated steel drainage pipe, 2' diameter, out from a heavy clay pond embankment. I'd like to have kept it another 2-5 years, but with 2 teenage drivers in the family, I wanted the improved safety engineering of the newer trucks.

Left the dealership and my wife said no way you're driving pal. So I sit in the darn passenger seat and she hits the gas and I thought I was going to get whiplash! The seats in the King sure make you feel like a King and it sits up high enough to make you feel safe. Everything is right at your finger tips and all the toys are awesome. All I can really say is "yee haw" we love our truck. Ford done good.

Never thought I could be happy with a full size pickup. The F150 is a work horse that is sturdy, fun to drive and extremely comfortable.
