This is my second Ford F150. It's a great truck! Just make sure you are aware of the miles to gas ratio. It cost me between $57-$67 to fill up. I Would like to see a better design for the information buttons that display miles, trip, and temp on the dash. They hide behind the steering wheel can't I see them! The 5.5 foot bed is a bit of a disappointment. Ford needs to design an F150 four door truck with a 6 foot bed. Conclusion the rest of the truck is excellent!

I love this truck. It's comfortable and fun to drive. The gas mileage is lower than I would like. It was only around 17 on the highway when I first bought it. However, driving carefully and using a good synthetic oil, I'm able to get about 18 mpg on the highway. Around town, I only get about 14.

I have owned two Dakota club cabs in the past 9 years and decided to go for a full size truck this time. The Ford F-150 is hands down twice the truck the Dakota was. Even in terms of fuel economy it is much better than either Dakota ( a V-6 and a V-8). The cab layout is good, the controls simple and intuitive. The ride and handling are great - and QUIET! Visibility with the new side window design is superb.

I tested everything in the class and also a Tacoma. The only thing that came close was the Titan. The Tundra was just too feminine and the Chevy was just too plain. They haven't changed the styling since at least 2001 when we bought our Tahoe, they look identical inside! The FX4 is a very sporty looking truck with great power. The "Fit and Finish" is very nice. The complete redesign from a couple years ago was very good. Only cheap feeling part of the truck is the shifter knob on the center console. Terrible fuel mileage but that's what you should expect when buying a full size 4-wheel drive vehicle. Definitely happy.

I traded in my old V-6 2WD F-150 for the large towing capacity and because 2WD on the ice around here is horrible. My first impression was same truck bigger engine, but as time passed I noticed a lot of little things Ford did to make this truck better than previous models. The mirrors are bigger it has a softer ride it rides higher than previous 4x4 models and it drives like a compact car. I can swing the truck in and park where i couldnt have before. Backing up is easier with the larger mirrors and the added horsepower without the huge loss in fuel economy are huge assets.
