Used 2004 Ford F-150 Consumer Reviews
ex chevy owner, all others are junk
best by far. makes all others look bad
Great Truck
Since I bought my truck in 2008 I've put a little over 50,000 miles on it. It has been an an excellent truck. I had a 1997 Ford F-150 4x4 and I must say a drastic improvment on Ford's part. The 5.4 liter Triton is an all around great motor. The overall performance of the truck is great. I take it to the family farm, the hunt club, home, jobsites, and college. It has done everything I want and more. I've even had to pull out jeeps, chevys, and Dodges at jobsites. The only thing extra I've put on it was a K&N and a bullydog system upgrade chip. Great reliable truck, I recommend the 2004 F-150 Lariat 4x4 to any one.

F-150 FX4 Reg. Cab 6.5 SB
This truck is very reliable, and very powerful for its size. With the 5.4 Liter V8, towing and off-road capabilities are almost limitless. However, I have encountered shifting problems with the automatic transmission very early on. The interior isn't very comfortable for long trips. The interior build is questionable as well; lots of plastic parts that can break very easily. I am very hard on my vehicles, and change almost every 5 years, and this truck has held up better within the first year of ownership than any other Ford vehicle I've driven. Overall, it is a reliable vehicle and very fun to drive.

So far ive put over 100,000 miles on my truck and it has had no problems whatsoever I would stongly recomend the new F150 as I will soon buy one and from the test drive I took it performed even better than my wifes BMW. Now thats outstanding!
my pick-up
Reliable, fun to drive, at least 18mpg. city driving, comfort would have been a ten, but the bench seat leans to the inside, other than that its a fun hard working truck. Ford will be the only make that i will buy. Hope the rest of you people try a Ford soon.
