Used 2004 Ford F-150 Consumer Reviews
Long time Ford owner, not impressed
Well, I've driven my new F-150 about 10,000 mi. since Dec.'03. This truck has problems: 1: With humidity or rain, the truck "self-accelerates" Yes, that's right like from 60mph, all of a sudden it is going 80. Ford acknowledged they had a problem but no repair for it yet 2: After a carwash, hard to start 3: Rattles everywhere. Brake pedal has a really annoying rattle, the leather back seat vibrates against the window, and the drivers window squeals when it goes down. 4: The truck is a $37,000 truck and it came with cheap-ass tires. No Goodyears like my '97 had which got 108,000 miles on the first set.
Nice Truck
Great truck a pleasure to drive. A down sides to the design is lack of storage space for things guys like to have in a vehicle like jumper cables, tie downs, first aid kit, flash light, etc... Stoping charteristics are solid. The beef up calipers and brakes give a definite feeling of reliability for the unexpected.

Best Ford ever
Great Truck. I will likely upgrade to a Lariet. This is truely the best ford ever built.
Definitely Ahead of its Class!
I, who once said will never buy a truck, have converted due to this F-150. I absolutely love this truck. I cannot image any other being better in any category. The ride is smooth, quite and confident. The interior makes you forget you are in a truck. On rough roads, you feel the slight vibrations but you dont hear any snap, crackle or pop from anywhere. Its solid built quality will not make you second guess is value or capabilities.
Fords The Best
Well the company that i work for only uses ford because its the one that last the longest.
