Used 2004 Ford F-150 Consumer Reviews
F150 4X Cross Country
Lower door seals had to be replaced; they were collapsed and allowed dirt and water to get inside the door well. Acceleration is delayed for about a second after one "punches" the gas pedal. Rotors had to be "turned." Steering wheel would shudder upon putting on the brakes at speeds of 55 mph. Interior design is outstanding - very comfortable on a long trip. Suspension is outstanding.
My dream truck!
Awesome ride. Smooth, quiet, powerful... rides like a luxury car, pulls everything- boat, trailer, camper...The height provides great visibility and clearance of obstacles in the road. 4x4 for adventures and SAFETY is a must in the rugged Northwest.

Ford on top
While the F-150 does lack the side air bags, it is undeniably the safest large truck on the highway. It has crash severity sensors, available back up sensors, front & Rear Crumple zones, the strongest frame made, a hood that will not go through the windshield, and all speed traction control, the engine has more power than either GM or Dodge 300HP & 365lb torque at 1000 rpm, not 3000. For once Ford has taken the lead. Can you say 4 doors i every cab design? The ride is much more refined than competitors and takes this truck to the Rolls Royce of Trucks
04 SuperCab FX4(5.5ft box)
As a 1st time truck owner & a loyal ford customer I am very pleased & excited about my new F150. The exterior styling was nicely redone & interior styling with flow thru console is luxury like. The drive by wire electronic throttle seems a little sluggish & almost delayed at times. The road noise inside the cockpit at highway speeds is very impressive and not ford like. The steering & braking are surprisingly responsive for a 5000+ lb truck.
2004 F150
I think the my 2004 F150 is very nice ,But The 5.4L need a little more power.
