Used 2003 Ford F-150 SuperCrew Consumer Reviews
If it wasn't for the rust
Great truck. Hauled great. K&N Air Intake, custome cat-back dual exhaust added. Gas miliage...well it's a truck so what do you expect! If it wasn't for gas prices, I would still have it. The bottom of the doors are starting sto show rust. Concerns me. Sold it just recently for a silly low amount. Bought a Mazda6. I will own a truck again, and it will be a Ford.
2003 Screw 4wd XLT 5.4L
I usually buy imorts, as I drive vehicles until they die. But with two kids we just needed the extra room. Our maiden weekend voyage allowed us to pack everything from food to strollers. Got 17.5 mpg on our first tank(5.4L) which is close to what I get with my 93 Pathfinder - but this has way more power. Rides great on the highway.

Great truck!Unbelievable back seat room.Smooth ride,great on highway.Love the height,impressive.
Typical Ford Truck
I rated the mileage at a 7, but honestly it is on par for the type vehicle it is. But it is costly for just running around town. It has been on several long trips with 4 and luggage and actually performs well on the road. Super low end torque for trailer towing. Rides smoother than most cars and handles pretty good as well.
Best Value Truck / SUV
Just picked up my 03 F150 S'Crew. Overall very pleased with fit & finish. I consider this to be the best overall value truck/SUV on the market. Seating for six and great interior. Really like the sporty look and comfortable ride ! Just couldn't talk myself into a van. Would like to have waited for the new 04, but once I read they're going to lifetime transmission fluid I knew the 03 was for me.
