So Far - So Good - 2004 Sport Trac Adrenalin 4X4
This review is for the 2004 Sport Trac Adrenalin 4X4. Bought the truck brand new from a dealer in 2004. It's now 2019. So far, I've only had to do the scheduled maintenance and have suffered no issues. Nothing has broken. The truck has always been garaged. Had to change tires obviously. I work from home, so I only have 63,500 miles after 15 years. There's no rust on the body so far, but I just moved to South Dakota and that may change as they use heavy salt here. I'm driving even less miles than I did in the previous 15 years, so the truck just may outlive me by a hefty margin. I bathe and wax it 1X per month *religiously*, so that may have prevented body rust over the years, but can't tell for sure. Also, I only used it to do light towing of < 2500lbs and trips to home depot for mulch and such. Never gave it a full towing load and I don't drive vehicles hard like some folk. I drive alone most of the time and kept 1-6, 75lb sand bags in the bed to avoid the classic rear end pickup floating hazard in slippery conditions. In the winter, I use a higher number of sand bags. In the summer, I only use 2.

Not perfect, but not bad
After 110000M, it's still going strong without any mechanical failures. Just the basic maintenance required. It has excellent fuel consumption, compared to my Tahoe. Of course, you trade off horses when you go into a V6 but it's enough to do most things that can be done with a 4 foot long box. Outside styling looks very sporty and the paint has a tough anti scratch coating. The suspension is a little too soft for spirited driving, but the truck still handles very well on the road. Very comfortable front seats. Dunno about back ones, never been on them. Havent heard complaints about them though. The tail of the truck is a extremely light (fiberglass box), but nothing some sand bags wont fix.

Love it but
Overall, I Love the vehicle's utility and versitility. I have done 105 K so far. It fits any size person. Air bag went bad (second time for Ford product). They are on national back order which translates to bad 'air bag' product. Rear blower went bad as well. Needs better gas mileage. Bed with extended will haul drywall & plywood.
Keepin it until it dies.
I love driving this truck, however because of poor fuel economy (17 mpg) cant use for commute. Handles great, only two repairs in 5 years. Traded a Toyota Tacoma when I bought Ford new and this truck is hands down better. It is perfect for our needs.
