I never thought I would own a Ford
Just leased a 2019 Ford Expedition Limited Stealth Edition with heavy duty tow package. I needed a vehicle to transport a enclosed car trailer. The Expedition is rated at 10300, which is better than the competition. The stealth in triple black and interior with red accent stitching is very eye catching. The safety features like adaptive cruise, lane departure control and blind spot mirror indicators are a plus feature. The only thing I can fault it on so far is the Navigation system. Think it is time for a redo as my Honda Pilot had a better system. Haven’t driven enough miles yet to determine fuel mileage or had time to use the tow package. Overall very please. Nice job Ford from a Chevy man.

Much Better Than Chevy
Went in looking to buy a Chevy Tahoe. Test drove the Ford Expedition and was blown away. Handle better, felt lighter, features were just as good if not better. Overall a great vehicle.

Be aware of 10-speed-transmission issue
I loved this truck until check engine light and wrench light started coming one. Had to go back and forth for service more than 10 times to finally identify transmission issue. So many people have complained 3 and 5th gear problem and I found same issue with mine. There's class action lawsuit for same issue with 10-speed-transmission equipped trucks, including F150, rangers, etc. I was not able to drive mine for 3 months now and on loaner which I have to go back and forth everytime.

Best of the Best
Traded in a 2004 Expedition on a 2019 Expedition. Loved the older one and loved the new one. And kept an open mind in the buying process. Considered Chevy and Cadillac...I don't buy foreign cars. The Ford is way better than the competition on almost ever measure of effectiveness. Probably will get another new one in 2029. VERY satisfied!!!

Transmission problems!
I bought my 2019 Ford Expedition used at just under 100K miles. I had the vehicle for 5 months (put on about 5k miles) and it needs a new transmission. Disappointed is an understatement! I was never a Ford fan but after having a 2011 Subaru Tribeca, I loved all of the space and features of the Expedition. I was absolutely in love until I could no longer drive it. Now, it's been in the shop for the last 8 weeks for a full transmission rebuild! The dealership talked us into a rebuild instead of a new one and had to wait several weeks on parts and even received a faulty valve body from Ford. I suppose these are the risks you take when buying pre-owned but I never would have imagined having to pay for a full transmission rebuild on a $30,000 vehicle that I've only owned for 5 months. Never will I ever own another Ford!
