i picked the escape due to deperate need. recent accident caused me to move quickly. i liked the price and look. it handles great. comfortable ride, i picked this over a car because of the higher profile and cargo area.

Bought this car used but the mechanical side of it seems to be great. Gas mileage is terrible for in town. Open road it is okay for a small Suv. Love the way it handles on the open road or in tight traffic areas. It does have alot of power to it. Really fun to drive. I am a sports car person but this Suv can change my mind easily..

Have tried other suv's, but this one better. It's smart looking, handles great. The only complaint would be the console. I would love to be able to lift it into a backrest for the front seat. Feels solid when driving, and takes curves very well. Husband has trouble getting into and out of vehicles due to his hip replacement, but this one is very easy for him. We will continue to buy this product as long as it continues to perform as it is now.

Have only had for three months. Fun to drive, not great on gas. My last car got 40 MPG so this seems like a gas eater. Picks up good on the freeway. Perfect size not to big not to small, handles great,very comfortable driving experience. Can haul friends or stuff. Happy with it so far.

I bought a 2003 New Ford Escape in Virginia Beach at Beach Ford.It was a nightmare. Very poor service and very rude service managers. Could not get a call back from the sales manager or general manager (I paid cash for the car). Milage is way below what it is supposed to be. Ford Corp would do nothing, Beach Ford would do Nothing.It got 14 miles per gallon the first year and has improved to a whopping 20 or so the next year. I have been very disappointed in the vehicle, dealership and Ford Corp. The passenger door would not close and the windshield leaked when I bought the car. Both Beach Ford and the national Ford did very little.
