So disappointed
I bought my car used in May 2020 with 24,000 miles. I have loved everything about my car until my check engine light came on back in May of 2022. I was having to refill the coolant regularly and After a lot of running around I was told I needed a motor at 84,000 miles. My warranty would not pay because Ford posted a tsb since they now know they built a faulty motor and ford wouldn’t help because I didn’t have a ford warranty.. I just paid $6000 for a new motor only to find out my transmission is now messed up at 84000 miles also.. the tourque converter need to be replaced and that will cost another $2500 according to ford. Although there is a recall for one part of the transmission they will only cover the tourque converter IF the plate is already cracked.. why have a recall that you have to wait for it to actually break and cause problems before Ford will fix their mess. We spend a lot of money for manufactures to not even care about our safety..

In the shop every 6 months
Bought my edge used but in great condition 1 owner. It had 30,000 miles on it the engine went out 6 months later apparently this is a issue ford is very aware of then its in the shop again now for a leak in the fuel line. I love the design and comfort of my car but really questioning should i trade in.

Love this car
I can't say enough about the car. I fell in love the minute I saw it and test drove it. Love the heated seats. Very comfortable and has power when you need it. I would definitely buy another Edge. I actually have the 6 cylinder version.

Jim’s review of his 2017 Edge
I have owned a 2017 Edge and it has a nasty rattle in the dash. Various dealers are unable to find it. I will try once more and then I will replace it. I don’t think it will be another Ford.
