Biggest POS since the Ford Tempo in 1991
Bought this in June 2018. At 32000 miles blew the motor and turbo, left me stranded in Arkansas. A month later thermostat went out. Then a sensor. I was on my way back from Illinois this last weekend and the check engine light came on. (69000 miles) Thermostat!!!! Ford told me this vehicle has 2 thermostats. I travel a lot and this SUV has left me stranded more than any car I've owned. I have a 07 F150 that has over 160000 miles and running great have never had to do anything to it! This Ecosport is a huge mistake by Ford. Left a very bad impression on me. I've always been a Ford person since I could drive in the 80's. But his weekend....this worthless SUV will be getting traded in. Hate to say it, but may be leaning toward Hyundai or Toyota. It will definitely not be a Ford. If you buy this SUV, make sure you get an extended waranty because you will need it!

DO NOT BUY THIS CAR
2018 Ecosport Nothing but trouble. Power Train, Thermostat, Exhaust / Gas smell through the vents at low speeds, terrible gas mileage, no power, dead space in accelerator pedal, radio resets to AM constantly, no spare tire, cramped, nowhere to set anything down. Don't be fooled by it's cute appearance, especially the lightning blue ones. You will have nothing but trouble.

Please save yourself from the headache
Please stay away self this car! It has been in the shop more than I have driven it. First.. the oil pump on in the center of the motor. Coming home from 5 states over, my motor blew. The car sat in the shop for a half a year waiting on warranty! That’s another thing! Don’t waste your time Wouk extended warranty. Anyhow.. now that I have my car back.. 6 months later, it’s back in the shop with a leaky axle… leaking onto the motor. Whatever that even means! I honestly wish I had known how big of a piece of crap this car was. I would have steered clear and you should too!

Very slow
I test drive one with the 1.0 liter Ecoboost and couldn’t believe how slow it is. It makes pulling out onto the interstate dangerous, it can’t even keep up with city traffic. Spend a little more and buy an Escape.
