The biggest negative I hear about this vehicle is it’s slow acceleration. It isn’t a race car, that is true, but it accelerates at a good steady pace. I just know I won’t be passing a slow car on a two lane road unless I have lots of clearance. The car is comfortable and is at a good height. I turned in my leased Fusion Hybrid and I’m finding the EcoSport to be so much more fun although the gas economy isn’t nearly as good. I actually enjoy the smallness of the vehicle because it is easier to maneuver and steer. My only complaint is that there is no CD player in the vehicle. Nevertheless, it has enough ports that a portable CD player can be plugged in. I think I will enjoy this vehicle for many years.

Averaging 30.6 mpg combined city/hwy. Like with any vehicle, the faster you drive the more fuel you will burn. The optimal highway speed is around 72 mph. Anything over that and you will see your mpg drop into the upper 20’s. Acceleration is no issue. It’s a 1lt, not a V8 but it has plenty of power to get you into traffic on the highway and pass when you need to. The Sync 3 system is amazing! The cargo space is great for the size. The seats DO fold down flat. It works like the old Cherokees of the late 90’s. You have to pull the back seat up then lower the back of the seat to fold flat. I’m 6’4” and ride very comfortably in the drivers seat. You will struggle as a passenger in the back if you are bigger like me but this is called a compact SUV for a reason.

I don't have anything good to say, honestly. At first i fell in love with it. We had it just a little over a year and we've had two major malfunctions leaving us stranded off the side of the interstate and back roads! The first the oil pump failed, second time it completely cut off on me in the middle of the road. WITH MY CHILD IN THE BACK! Luckily no one was behind me or i would've gotten in a wreck. This car has become a headache and not realiable!!

Dealer has 10 left, hurry down to Nalley Ford in Sandy Springs. Metallic white color is really rich looking. Have it 2 weeks, SE model, just about loaded incl navigation, sunroof, blind spot, auto climate control, surround warnings, cross traffic warning and so much more. Don’t believe the garbage that acceleration is horrible, it’s more than adequate. The Ford Ecoboost engines are great, my 4th ford with ecoboost, 2 escapes and an edge. Ford Sync and info systems are state of the art. Really fun to drive, I see a lot of people turning their heads. I’m a senior citizen, bought a ton of cars, this is best value car I’ve ever bought. Love the Ford SUVS, they ride so solid. Run to buy one.

My daughter had a lemon 2014 Ford Focus that she LOVED but it spends more time in the shop then we were willing to deal with. This super cute EcoSport was the perfect replacement. She really likes being taller and the car gets excellent gas mileage. As a college student this is an excellent choice. The best part from my perspective, no more faulty transmission! Excellent vehicle to move up too.
